Enigma had always been a lone wolf, and he had come to rely on his own instincts and skills to survive. He had faced countless dangers on his missions, and had always managed to emerge victorious. But he knew that luck could only take him so far, and that eventually he would face a challenge too great for him to handle alone. This was why he was determined to find out the truth about the world he lived in, and to secure a place for himself in it.


For Enigma, making the world a safer place was just a bonus – what he really cared about was increasing his own brand and stock profile. He knew that the more valuable he was to others, the more secure his own future would be. And if the current situation was the new reality for human beings, he wanted to be seen as someone who was useful.


As he approached the portal, Enigma couldn't help but feel a sense of curiosity. There was something mysterious about these portals, something that he couldn't quite put his finger on. He had heard stories of people disappearing into them, never to be seen again. But he was determined to find out more, to uncover the secrets that lay beyond.


As he walked, Enigma noticed Hana standing about fifteen feet away. He watched her for a while, trying to gauge whether she was alone or not. When he was sure that she was, he sent her a party request and waited to see if she would accept it. Although he was invisible and she couldn't see or hear him, it was good to know that he wasn't completely alone in this strange, new world.

"Haha, I knew you could do it." The rat catcher poured some wine to have a toast with Enigma, which the masked man accepted and took a seat. "Looks like Paris had its fair share of fireworks, sorry for the mess, I hope that the local authorities could look the other way for the greater good. " Though, it's not like they could catch Enigma anyway if they wanted to hold him responsible. He just eliminated the current and next generation of monster rats. He even burned away the toxic waste they committed to illegally dumping in the sewers that caused the issue.

"Well, as long as the dumping continues, the rats may be back. Or who knows, maybe it'll be pigeons this time?" Flyers, always have to be careful about beings that maintained a terrain advantage. Enigma himself had to fight smart with little flexibility. But now, he feels as if he's able to handle himself pretty well. "Well, cheers to a successful mission."

The plan was initiated as Enigma summoned his innate flame, going around to each particular point as night fell and using the innate flame creature to send out a 15-meter blast into the potholes to do a preventive strike on the rats. Not only were the rat monsters being burned, the good thing was that the babies that were living off of the radioactive waste were now experiencing a smokey situation as the waste was burned away. What was left afterward was smoke, which made it difficult for the rats and had them move to another exit point.

However, Enigma was no slouch either. The main point here was that every single focus point had a den of monster rats that made their home under, with them being big enough to carry a human back with them for food. By destroying those dens and burning out the waste with the mystical blue flame, he was directing them to the middle of Paris. The choices were to suffocate due to the smoke, or try to exit and get attacked on their way out.

At the middle point, Enigma waited. 

"Here they come!"

Enigma sat back in his chair and sighed deeply. "That's easier said than done," he muttered to himself, contemplating the various challenges that lay ahead. The vibes were different now, and he couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. He knew that he couldn't face these challenges alone, and he wouldn't mind forming an alliance in case things got a little dicey.

Enigma's mind wandered to the topic of dungeon breaks and raids. He wondered what would happen if a dungeon hadn't been raided in a very long time due to fear or neglect. Would the system react to it? He thought about the possibility of some of the dungeon's residents leaking out as a sign of warning. In such a scenario, Enigma believed that it was important for everyone to come together for the sake of maintaining safe zones.

As he sat lost in thought, Enigma noticed Hana talking to someone. He wondered if she had a secret admirer. He slouched in his chair a bit and watched her from afar. Enigma had been moving as a lone wolf for the longest time, but after experiencing companionship with someone he could rely on, he wasn't sure if he wanted to go back to being alone.

"I'm Enigma," he said as he introduced himself to the woman who Hana was talking to, and then to the young man who was asking for the final performance. Enigma didn't care much for titles or formalities, especially since people often called him all sorts of things due to his mask. When the young man mentioned a song that he wanted to hear, Enigma almost spoke up and suggested a song too, but he decided against it after hearing Hana mention a song.

"The last performance, huh?" he said, trying to sound casual. "If they played 'Fly Me to the Moon', that would be pretty cool, eh?"

Regardless of what song would be played, the reason why Enigma walked over was to send over a trade function to tip the young musician. Everybody had their ways to survive, it was to be respected, especially if it wasn't hurting anyone else.

"Alright, i'll just burn it all. Summon, innate flame!" 

Enigma's decision to utilize his fiery abilities to burn the remaining trash showcased his adaptability and resourcefulness. With a sense of purpose, he summoned the elemental humanoid of flames, its azure blaze flickering with determination.

"Alright," Enigma instructed the elemental, "here's what I need you to do. Burn all the remaining trash until there's nothing left. The street sweepers and the giant will assist in cleaning up any ash you might leave behind."

With the elemental's help, the streets of Paris were soon ablaze with controlled fires, swiftly reducing the remaining trash to ash. The giant, a powerful being in its own right, worked alongside the street sweepers to manage the aftermath and ensure a thorough cleanup. The once overwhelming piles of waste were now transformed into manageable remnants, easily washable or sweepable.

While they had traded one problem for another, Enigma's decision proved to be efficient and effective. The ash left behind was far easier to handle and dispose of than the towering piles of garbage they had encountered before. It was a solution that made the daunting task of waste management more manageable for the city and its residents.

Enigma's innate flame held an impressive power, ranking as A-class magic with a reach of 15 meters. With such potency at his disposal, the cleanup process progressed quickly, and the streets gradually returned to a cleaner state. As the elemental continued its work, Enigma contemplated another way to contribute to the city's overall improvement. His eyes settled on the nearby dump, a place where waste accumulated and posed a constant challenge for disposal. With an idea in mind, he turned to his fellow companions of the trash removal company. 

"Maybe we should visit the dump as well and give it a good once-over," Enigma suggested. "If we burn a good majority of the trash there while assisting the incinerator, it would create more space for proper disposal."
