Shattered.. Everything is shattered. Despite everything that I chose to do, despite how much of myself I gave to this world, I somehow ended up here.. Locked away within a prison of my own making. No matter how imposing the walls may seem to be on the outside, it's what is held inside that is truly horrifying. A broken mind.. Who would have thought that this is where my fate may have taken me? Well no more. I'll use this fantastical yet horrifyingly lucid world that has been bestowed upon me. It's time for me to take charge and for me to make my own fate..! Ahahahaha!!![break][break]

backstory

Samuel Jimi Lamoze, or Sami as some call him, was quite the exceptional individual. Born August 30th, 1998, Sami was born into a rather wealthy Upper Class family known solely as the Lamoze's. His mother, Alison, was that of a lawyer whilst his father, Mckenzie Luke, had been a major screenplay writer. By the time that he had managed to come into the family, his parents had already managed to have had four whole kids! Each of these siblings were kids that he would eventually come to look up to or be inspired by, so thankfully things had managed to be rather amicable between them all. Well, all except for his sister Harriet, whom he had not ever really managed to develop the best relationship with. And as for the sister that would be born a year later, Darcie, they simply couldn't find a way to get along well either. Not that any of that would matter to Sami in the long run. You see, Samuel had always managed to have been a bit smarter than the other kids. This hadn't earned him many friends, and had honestly led to quite a few rude remarks from the other kids his age, but it had at least managed to set the foundation of a good enough future for the young Lamoze.

Having been exceptionally talented in the ways of school growing up, Samuel would come to learn various things! English, Math, Science.. That all was a breeze to the young lad! Dealing with and understanding people though? Well that simply wasn't something that young Sami had been capable of. It is for this exact reason that the boy would eventually go on to study Psychology. It was his hope that in understanding the mind, he could finally make some friends. People that wouldn't judge him for being the smartest person in the room. People that would look up to him and admire the work that he would put in for them. All of that studying was quite a lot of work after all! This would actually end up leading the young Lamoze down a proper life path for once, but as all good things tend to do, it would eventually come to an end.

In the year of 2020, Samuel would eventually undergo a psychotic break. There wasn't any real factor that one could identify as the culprit for the situation, given that the exact causes of schizophrenia are unknown, but it wouldn't be too far off to assume that it had something to do with the death of his father. On the day of his twenty second birthday, Samuel's father would have the unfortunate experience of death via slipping on an orange peel.. It was a horrible situation overall but the manner in which it had happened? Well it simply hadn't seemed all that real. This being the case, upon having learned of his father's death, the young man simply would refuse to believe that such a thing had happened. After all, who would go out in such a way? Well after the proof had been displayed to him, whatever catalyst was stowed away within the young mans mind had been set loose. It wouldn't be long before he would suffer this psychotic break and his entire world would flip upside down.

Despite how much his family had loved him, the majority of them anyway, the Lamoze's simply couldn't afford to take on the monumental task of caring for someone with a mental illness that they couldn't understand. About a half a year in, Sami's mother would eventually contact a long term psychiatric hospital in which she would eventually submit the young man. Given that he was legally considered to be incompetent in such matters, due to his mental illness, there wasn't really much choice in whether or not Samuel would have to go. Against his best wishes, Sami would eventually found himself hauled off to the long term facility and would go on to spend the rest of his days within. The cold white and lifeless walls that had barricaded him within, the inanely long straight jackets that he would have to wear, and the various excruciating medical practices that he would have to endure... It would all become too much for the young man. Rather than face the real world, he would simply barricade himself within the confines of his mind. Even if he didn't have the most control over it, given that he was hearing, seeing, feeling and overall experiencing things that he didn't actively choose to experience, it had still felt as though it was a better fate than the one that he was being offered. Rather than fight against these hallucinations, he would empower them and give in to their whims. The logical mind of Samuel Jimi Lamoze was seemingly no more, buried deep within the confines of his mind, and a more emotional and whimsical version of himself would break free in its place. This would last for the better end of a year and a half before the world would change. Before Earth-Chan would take charge. And now? Well only Sami knows what comes next~[break][break]
