Her problem relayed to Dee, Lowell and Kurai aside, Sylvia had enjoyed her brief time here. She really didn't have much in terms of things she could bring to the table, but Sylia was joust happy to help. Their tour guide was thankfully understanding about her plight. Having summons was handy, but not when all of them were constantly summoned and active. It sounded like they had a few options on how to accommodate them and it would be a little work to do so. "Either would work. I'd be willing to assist with any duties or items needed to help construction along." Sakura would purse her lips in thought. “I dunno...One big room for all of us sounds stuffy. I can do you and me, master, but not you and eight other maids, nya~” Sylvia was quiet, uncertain of how to really respond. She fussed with her maid attire and then eventually looked back to Dee Dee, almost as if to ask for her input. Regardless, they traveled along the next stop of the tour, the mess hall. Everyone seemed pretty well in spirits with the look inside, although it could have also been the close proximity to some of the cuisine available here. The room and its contents were all well crafted, and Sylvia noted their state compared to the stoves and kitchen equipment. They did seem to want to hold onto as many points as they could for better purposes, and it was also likely somebody on staff was good with their hands to frankenstein these things together for so long. She walked to one of the tables, a finger moving against the smooth wooden finish. "Are these handmade?" she asked Dee Dee. "They appear too well crafted to just find in the world. Not without somebody who specializes in such."They stopped the tour for a lunch break as Dee Dee opened her menu to everyone present. Sakura was quick to make her order, bouncing up and down with eyes full of hope. “Oh, oh! I'll take a Salmon! No, two salmon!” Sylvia was a bit more uncertain, as she'd look at the menu given to her in confusion and just pointed at the Tomator meal. deedee Lowell kurai |

The two maids arrived at their location in Paris, located directly inside one of the city's entertainment districts. Surrounding it were more contemporary buildings that generally looked to be more business savy, although she couldn't exactly wander up free to her heart's content. As people wandered the streets, Sylvia couldn't help but feel a bit out of place. Sakura and herself were still wearing the attire of maids, complete with the heels and dresses that went down to the knees. People did tend to stare for a bit, although attention was thankfully on her summon rather than herself. “What's the matter, nya? Never seen a cat maid before?” Sakura said to a crowd as they waited to be allowed inside. Once inside, the two were given their task by the owner. The interior of the tavern was rather...seedy? The men around were paying a considerably amount of attention, and not the good kind. Sylvia did her best not get too offset by them and would begin serving the patrons their drinks. Some were thankfully too enthralled in their conversations and left her alone, although some she delivered food and drinks to were somewhat more interested in her. "Your drinks, sir." she spoke quietly, placing everything down on the table and then quickly walking away. The plain looking boy introduced himself to the group as Lowell, a plain name for somebody like him. Not that she meant any disrespect by it, as the maid just continued to silently watch the introductions. The other blue haired individual seemed more than reluctant to play along with their manners, much as his rebellious look could attest. His question did make Sylvia question though. How on earth was she going to go about getting a room here? And more importantly, if her class could make more maids, would she even be able to get a bed by themselves? What about the number of beds? They were going to be summoned permanently, so there was little reason for asking to room with another person. Sakura must have been thinking the same thing and snickered to herself. “We're gunna need way more beds, nya~”The tour began as Dee Dee showed everyone the interior of some of the rooms. It was nice to get some privacy, although the shared bathrooms was a cause for concern. Sylvia tended to enjoy her privacy a lot, and would mill about how to get around this little hiccup. Maybe taking showers after midnight would be best? At least for now, anyway! They would need a bit more time before they could get some fully operational water. The two maids walked behind her as Sylvia raised her hand to Dee Dee and waited to be called. "Miss Dee Dee." she spoke so softly, eyes remaining focused on the smaller woman with a French accent. "Would there be anything that we could help with to better our Guild quarters? I don't feel as if the current accommodations are adequate for me. The rooms would be rather small given my..." Sylvia didn't go into too much detail as she furrowed her brows. Everyone's attention on her was already as comfortable as a knife to her side. "Ah-I can explain later. Preferably private."Then Sakura would chime in as her usual loud self. “Master's worried that since she can summon way more of us, we need more space in her room. The man's distaste in Sakura seemed to continue to go on as Sylvia just watched, partially out of having nothing better to do while fetching metal from around a city but also curiosity. The cat maid did have a good point about whether or not he had some type of power. It was like seeing an old man in a young man's profession, or however the saying went. Although she had remained busy scavenging scrap on her own time, Sakura stuck with the old man and continued to bother him. She hadn't seen when he would activate some power or another. Sakura did catch a pretty good glimpse at whatever he was doing. Her head tilted to the side at the scroll burning away. “Huh, what's that?” No response was made, so maybe that dementia was starting to kick in. He then looked at her incredulously, as if he didn't know what she was. Sighing to herself, Sakura continued on. “Whatever grandpa, nya~” The surprise of what he did when announcing a great metal structure took her by surprise. He had felled the great metal structure in one big display of force. Sakura had, of course, been spoked at the sudden holes being punched bear her, but had gotten out of it in one piece. The sounds had caught Sylvia's attention, the maid looked up just in time to catch the aftermath. She sad nothing, though wandered closer in a hurry once the old man had called out to her. Sakura, looked pretty amazed, grinning ear to ear. “Pretty cool stuff, Grandpa!” she said, starting to scrounge up metal parts herself while not paying too much attention to the look he was giving her. Sylvia showed up a few moments after it had fallen while hurrying over to her summon. "Are you hurt?" she asked Sakura, checking to see if she had caused this thing to come on. “I'm fine! That old geezer took apart this thing like it was nothing, nya~”"I see."Sylvia took the scraps of metal from Sakura that she had collected before the two continued to gather up more scrap just as the bar wearing nearing full completion. The old man had launched into a tirade as both maids were subjected to the long winded rant of an elder, and boy could this man go on for a while. Sylvia said nothing during it all and remained patient for her chance to respond. Even during the numerous pauses, the blonde maid would continue walking alongside him. Sakura, on the other hand, would look to be in absolute agony. Her tail swished back and forth in annoyance as he just kept on going. Thankfully whatever stray metal was picked up as well. “How long do you think he'll keep going if I yell some more?” Sakura whispered to Sylvia. The blonde cut her a look, as if to punish her for the idea, and just continued to walk behind him until they had gone further into the capital of South Korea. After all was said and done, Sylvia gave a nod and replied with a simple, "I see." and left it at that. She continued to roam around near Rojin and clean up whatever small bits of scrap metal that she could find. Sakura did much of the same, with her search being a bit more sparse. She could rummage through a lot of stuff faster due to her high strung self. She bound ahead of Rojin despite his wishes in order to finish the mission faster and mostly to piss him off more. “So Old Guy, you gotta have a cool power or something if you're here at your age. I don't think Earth-chan would throw you in with younger people if you weren't a kung fu master or something.” She asked, busy trying to reach a ledge from another building in order to search through some of the second story rooms they were passing by. She stuck her head out every now and again to keep track of Sylvia and him. Her master lagged behind a tad, busy collecting loose bits here and there. Sakura cleaned out some of the buildings of stuff she could get too easily. The bar continued to progress as Sylvia quietly would continue to allow her summon to scout ahead and run amok. “There's a huge display up ahead that looks like metal could be there. Their entrance wasn't too far behind some other people tagging along who had received the invitation. The first of which was a plainly dressed man that Sylvia did find plain looking, in a good way. His attire reminded him of the Young Master's on an off day, when he didn't have any meetings or plans to leave the manor. Tagging alongside him was a wolf that made a B line towards the smallest of the trio. Sylvia almost had to wonder if she was actually human or another kind of monster in the world. The other maid beside Sylvia with cat ears and a tail jumped at the sight of a canine in the ear. Her ears folded on the back of her head while her tail thrashed around. “Dogs...” she said in a disgusted tone. She growled at the wolf currently showering the small woman with affection while Sylvia looked back in confusion. “It's an animal thing, you wouldn't get it.”Another man had arrived shortly after the other boy, this man looking far more chaotic than the last. His blue hair and made up face made Sylvia a little annoyed at the lack of formality. But she was just a stickler for tradition and such, no need to become hostile toward this man. The other boy was introduced for the group, Lowell. But from the sound of it, they all had met one another before. So was she the black sheep of the bunch? She quietly watched the situation while Sakura did so in her own way. “Hello! Here for the tour like the rest of us, nya?~” She seemed to warm up to the strange man more than Sylvia did at the moment. The quiet blonde maid looked at the other two as she'd remain stoic. "I'm Sylvia, and this is Sakura. It's a pleasure to meet the two of you." Her voice was easily dwarfed out by anybody else, a whisper in the winds of a far greater storm. After her introduction, their tour had officially began as a word bubble formed from the small woman. She introduced her pets here out in front of her. The man's sudden abrasiveness had not gone unnoticed by either woman. Sylvia continued to stare at him, her emotion unchanging while just holding her hands in front of her and listening ever so vigilantly. Sakura, on the other hand, was much more confrontational about his many remarks. “You want loud, I'LL SHOW YOU LOUD YOU OLD FART! HOW ABOUT I-MMMMPH! PHRRGH MFFF!” Sylvia had slowly raised her hand to cover her summon's mouth during her little band of explicit language. Sakura's ears fell to the back of her head in annoyance, with her tails swishing left and right every now and again, much like a cat. "Sakura was simply trying to remain polite, sir. I ask that you show us the same pleasantry." It was a bit of an robotic sounding sounding request given how Sylvia's voice was dwarfed by anything else. She looked around at the trash around them while the man got up from his seat and began to walk forward and go on about their workload increasing because of their presence. Sylvia said nothing but continued behind him until it was more advantageous to split off and collect the fallen scraps of metal that way. “I can't believe you'd willing take his side. Who's that crotchy old man think he is anyway?” Sakura complained quietly to her master, picking up chunks of metal here and there as Sylvia just reserved herself to listening. Their heels clacked against the concrete pathways, interrupted every now and again as the two would pick up a fallen vending machine that was covering a metal sheet and add it to heir inventory. “I sya one nice thing and then he lectures me about being too loud. I'm quiet! I'm like second quiet in the world next to you.”Sylvia said nothing, but would then look to her partner as they tried to move some rubble off of some metal partially exposed. "Your meow."Sakura looked at Sylvia, confused. “Huh?”"When you're upset, you don't meow."She huffed, crossing her arms over her chest. “Thanks for noticing, nya~” She stomped forward as Sylvia remained behind her, the maid's mouth twitching into a small smirk as they soon met up with their party member after a while. "We've collected some metal." It was a simple request made of the two players, one that while unable to be anything more than a resource gathering mission, was no doubt integral to the people living on this world now. Sylvia was quiet as she warped into the area, mission in hand as her eyes went to reread the mission posting on her phone screen for the seventh time in a row. It was a habit to overanalyze, one that she struggled to overcome alongside more noticeable ones. But her quiet contemplation didn't last for long as an alert notified her of a part being established. The sidebar would show her player icon, with a foldable list of her summons underneath, alongside somebody else's. It seemed they had the same quest given and were in the same area, hence the party match up. “Looks like we got a friend in this little mission, nya~” Sakura said while her tail swayed left and right in anticipation of meeting the person. “Let's go meet them!”It was a short walk across the abandoned and derelict outskirts of the town, a tour around a place that had once been so full of life and hope only to be utterly destroyed beyond reckoning. Sylvia's expression darkened, the blonde frowning at what was here to greet her visage. Sakura followed along but didn't seem to share much of the same worries as her owner did. Sylvia often wondered if she was real or just a computer program herself. Another NPC given to her by Earth-chan that was about as human as every other monster here. And yet, she seemed incredibly realistic. Her mental quarry had been interrupted while catching sight of the old man standing on top of a fallen pillar. He looked fairly old for somebody involved in this game. Usually they were around her age or so, not appearing very elderly. Yet here this man sat so calmly. The feeling was unnerving, but it said he was in her party, so maybe that meant he was good? "Hello." Sylvia said, waving to the man. You were born with a silver spoon in the mouth seven times over, a wealthy family in France. Anything you wanted, you got. It could be a toy, a console, anything your little mind desired. And yet, it was never enough for you. No matter how expensive or grand the gift was, it was never really enough for you. They suffocated you in this manor and you wanted out. [break][break]
Until you one day when you just turned 5, the newest maid introduced herself. Her name was Sylvia, an orphan left on the door and trained to serve as a maid at your home. You invited her to the party and remember the date fondly. The two of you sat together alongside your rich friends and became fast friends. Shortly after, your parents appointed her as your personal maid. Somebody to keep you tied down here. Although it wasn't something you were a fan of, Sylvia's softspoken but friendly demeanor was more than enough to cause you to enjoy her company. The two of you grew up, more responsibilities placed on you, expectations. Things you wanted more than anything to get away from. [break][break]
It was a normal day when you received that text from Earth-chan. You had just gotten out of the shower when the text was received, although it was much too late to do anything. The last thing you recalled was a call from Sylvia before everything would fade into black. You awoke in someplace that wasn't your cozy room or your personal maid. Nor were there any maid staff or anything You were alone for the first time in your life. No responsibilities or talks about living up to the family name. [break][break]

A goody two shoes rich person that's arrogant, snobbish but keeps his maid with him for assistance, hellbent on becoming a force to be reckoned with in the world. Or perhaps he's more approachable and views this new chance as a way to become a hero he's dreamed of becoming! Any idea you have is on the table![break][break]

This seemed like a very nice place to be at compared to most of the world so far. It made Sylvia pause her walk towards the guild hall as she had come all this way to Asia. She was never one to wander from the manor that she was left at. Maybe to the grocery store nearby, or possibly traveling somewhere within the comfy town, but never farther than that. So finding herself lost in the rest of the world had caused her wanderlust to drastically increase. Her heels took her towards the destination listed in an invitation by a most mysterious host somewhere off the coastline. The solitude would have been nice, although a shrill, energetic voice behind her would have other thoughts about enjoying the scenery. “We're here! Gosh, this was taking forever, I thought that we were going in circles, nya~” Sakura said while standing beside the former head maid. Sylvia looked over quietly at her partner, her hands folded neatly in front of her, as had been installed into her since she was little. "Y-Yes, I agree. It's been long." Her voice was softspoken, the kind that would be drowned out by other people unaware that she was wanting to speak. Sakura, on the other hand, was the complete opposite. A parallel line dashed in the other direction. Excitable, driven, and outgoing. Her brief time with Sylvia, however, had not prepared her to get a full reading on her boss. The summon looked over in confusion at the brief statement. “Maybe they can help you find your friend, boss! I'm sure somebody's bound to have seen him around. If not here, he's somewhere, nya~” Sylvia nodded in silent agreement and would carefully make her way onto guild property. "Hello?" Sylvia asked as loud as she could manage, just barely above the volume of average discussion. The many sights to see had taken her attention away for just a moment. Just seeing the windmills in the background, spinning the day away, the rustic looking build that made her feel somewhat at home. All it needed now was the person she was looking for in this chaos. Wearing this gives you a permanent +20% buff to SPD and MAGI, along with resistance to Piercing, Slashing, Bludgeoning, and Bleeding damage equal to your SPD + MAGI. For those with a flair for the dramatic, touching the badge and/or shouting a catchphrase can manifest several pieces of armor, up to a full suit, that resembles the one worn by ANTHEM's Guild leader. Escape Rope Escape out of a dungeon/event/pvp invasion with minimal to no loss. Only 1 can be owned at a time. [break][break]
Boomstick The Boomstick is a new line of broomsticks used by the best of the best of maids! Merely possessing the Boomstick provides a 15% buff to PWR! [break][break]
Three times per thread, for three posts, you may ride the Boomstick and fly up to 15 meters in the air carrying up to one other passenger. [break][break]
When used as a weapon, once per post, the Boomstick can generate a large *BOOM*, dealing PWR in damage to one target and causing dust of all sorts to be sprayed into their face. This causes [Blind] for one post if your WIL is the same or higher rank than your target. After recovering from the [Blind] status, targets cannot receive it again from this attack for one post. Silver Serving Platter This shiny dish is sturdy enough to be used as a shield, absorbing your DEF in damage up to A rank before shattering and becoming unusable for the rest of the thread. Alternatively, it can be thrown up to 10 meters at your SPD to hit one target for your SPD -1 rank in damage, up to A rank. Although it then needs a post to vanish and return to your inventory before reappearing for use as a shield or projectile. backstory
One rainy day, a baby was left alone on the stoop of a manor in England. Bundled up nice and warm, it held a note explaining that the mother could no longer provide a home and asked for their forgiveness in this burden. Cold and shivering from the rain, Sylvia was found by one of the servants some time later after hearing its cries from the temperature outside. The house was divided on what to do with her, until the owner of the large manor, Master Blacke, would make the decision for her to stay, given how the young one's parents were not coming to claim her. She was cared for by the off duty maids for her time as a baby. Sylvia was named after the grandmother of the family, something brings her such high honor to this very day.[break][break]
Work, Work, Work
Once able bodied enough at age 8, she had duties and chores to complete to help the other maids. A quiet child by heart, she tended to prefer such duties as it gave her time to think about herself. It was a peaceful life, going to school and then coming home. The others always seemed so worried about her, but she preferred keeping busy here. After all, Sylvia wanted to thank the family for taking her in. The youngest child of the house was 5 at the time when they became friends. The two were allowed to play together after each of them had finished their homework. They were loud and prideful about their heritage, but nice enough to talk to. Sylvia didn’t have many friends, but cherished the Young Master’s time together. It was soon after that the family had appointed her as their child’s personal servant.[break][break]
She grew older and older and finished school, then working at the manor full time. During this, Sylvia studied under the head maid as an assistant and learned the ins and outs of their duties. Approving scheduling, taking stock of everyone’s duties done for the day, every little thing a large manor had to keep track of. Her work had left a lasting impression as she was promoted to Head Maid. This only exacerbated her overworking tendencies, but made for honest work. As of now, she’s focused on finding the Young Master in this world and ensuring their safety. [break][break]
