The two maids arrived at their location in Paris, located directly inside one of the city's entertainment districts. Surrounding it were more contemporary buildings that generally looked to be more business savy, although she couldn't exactly wander up free to her heart's content. As people wandered the streets, Sylvia couldn't help but feel a bit out of place. Sakura and herself were still wearing the attire of maids, complete with the heels and dresses that went down to the knees. People did tend to stare for a bit, although attention was thankfully on her summon rather than herself. “What's the matter, nya? Never seen a cat maid before?” Sakura said to a crowd as they waited to be allowed inside. Once inside, the two were given their task by the owner. The interior of the tavern was rather...seedy? The men around were paying a considerably amount of attention, and not the good kind. Sylvia did her best not get too offset by them and would begin serving the patrons their drinks. Some were thankfully too enthralled in their conversations and left her alone, although some she delivered food and drinks to were somewhat more interested in her. "Your drinks, sir." she spoke quietly, placing everything down on the table and then quickly walking away. Meanwhile, Sakura would be a bit more louder about her discontent. “Watch the tail, bud, or you'll be wearing that drink out of here, nya!”Mission Name: Serve That Food!Repeatable? Y

So far, so good. The clientele was very male, alongside the many ups and downs that came with that territory, but Sylvia had honestly been expecting as much. She took people's orders after some time, walked to the kitchen and waited for the owner to fix everything up before delivering it to the people that had ordered. The day was passing by quickly, despite everything going on. There were some troublesome customers like any other job, but Sakura was handling it well. Her loud and boisterous nature leant itself to stuff going on in the bar.
“Royale Roast and 3 Draft Beers here! Get out of my way!” Sakura pushed past a couple of men in the way of her delivery to the table far off in the corner. There were some words exchanged and a tail that puffed itself up out at anger, but things settled down once the owner had managed to step out and toss a knife in the wall. One of many, based on the many cracks in the walls.
With the lunchtime rush over, everyone was provided a break for the time being. Sakura and Sylvia would share a table together, munching on some food provided by the kitchen. Like always, Sakura had ordered the freshly cooked Salmon and went to town the moment the dish was brought out. Sylvia had gotten the chicken and mushroom fricassee and chewed idly.
"This is turning out to be somewhat normal for a change." Sylvia said as she pushed some piece of chicken around with her fork.
“Yeah, totally! I was gunna throw sauce at that guy from earlier though. Why does everybody mess with the tail, nya?”

The break was a welcome respite from the beginning duties of the rush. Sylvia had enjoyed her little meal from the kitchen. It wasn't as good as the dishes back at the manor. Ever since she had come into the world away from home, food had always tasted so different. Something about the longing for her old life back had made the world around the maid feel so trivial. The blonde continued to play with her food some before she pushed the plate away.
"We should prepare for the dinner rush." Sylvia sat up and exhaled. The aroma of food being grilled in the back filled the air as she began to stretch her legs. "I haven't done this in quite some time. Do you know how to?"
Sakura shot the other blonde a rather inquisitory glance. “There's a science behind it? I thought you just ran around and took orders all day. Seems simple, nya~”
Sylvia smiled to herself. She had thought the same thing when she was just starting to tend to some of the larger events of her host family. There was a lot to do, even for somebody as lowly as a waiter or servant. "It may not look so complex, but even servers have to balance a lot. Speed and agility to take dishes as far as they need to are the more simplistic concepts, but for something advanced, say that that table there," she motioned to the empty table across from them on the other side of the restaurant, "Orders food before somebody here does. They both order the same meal. If one order is done before the other, which table should get served first?"
“The first one? I mean, it was done first so it makes sense.”
"Yes, but you would be wasting time by delivering one after another, Sakura. If you were to wait for the second dish for just a little while longer, you would be able to serve both in one cycle. This also assumes that we have a cart or your ability to balance dishes at once."
The clock above them was clicking on and on. Sakura's eyes gazed up as it would read 4:30. The boss called out to both to finish up and get ready for when they would make the "real money". Sakura thought on Sylvia's words as the quiet blonde carried their dishes away, heels clacking on the floor.
“Man, you're a weird master, Master. But the best I've had, nya~” Sakura murmured to herself and began to clean the table.

The restaurant was filled with patrons to the point it was going to burst! Sakura was busy trying to take down orders and yelling at the occasional hand approaching her rear. She had been trying to keep things civil but the sheer amount of food being pushed out made her head spin around.
“Table 12! Your order's ready! Excuse me, pardon me. MOVE OUT OF MY WAY!”
Sylvia was working farther away, bustling along as she quietly made her rounds across the business. Her speed was impeccable when she was this focused. Her sense of balance as she carried multiple trays and bowls on her body was second to none. And what drove Sakura up a wall was that she didn't even appear to be any more emotional than before! That same stoic and unassuming face that never did end.
"You're doing quite well, Sakura.”[/font] Sylvia said with another minor smirk on her face, hands slowly going through the other woman's hair. "I hope nobody's given you too much trouble.”[/font]
The touch of the head had caused a reaction in the cat girl, causing her cheeks to flush red. Sakura looked away as a soft purr escaped from her lips. Her head pressed against the top of Sylvia's palm against her wishes. “D-Don't do that. You're gunna make me start purring all night, nya~” She pushed aside before then hurrying back out with a blush on her face.
The rest of the night went by quick and before either of the maids knew it, the night was done. Both women stood before the owner to report the job as done. Sylvia received payment and would bid the man farewell, quickly walking off with Sakura behind her.
