This day was perfect!

The sun was out, his shirt was off, and he was finally going to get a tan. The most important part, however, was the fact that he was at a beach! It's been a long time since he's had an opportunity to just sit back and relax in a beach setting. And here he was, working on his tan while sipping a nice can of brewskies.

"Ah...finally...time...to...nap..." He yawned throughout that as he settled into his beach chair and closed his eyes. Only to be disturbed by a light flashing in front of him. It blared at him, shining through his closed eyelids, annoying the hell out of him. Sighing, he opened his eyes.

The first line caught him, the second made him lean forward. "Drugs? Damn...maybe I can get some for myself..." He ended that thought with a whisper, before looking around. There were quite a few people milling around. And was that a dude who just opened up his stash in front of a teenager? "Ah crap...so that's how it is..."

Jin propped himself up, before slowly getting to his feet. He brushed the sand from his behind, and dusted off his legs. "Drugs. Kids. Nah, those don't mix well." He cracked his knuckles, before turning around, only to meet another person who seemed to be already watching the exchange.

"Hey, you here for the mission too?" Against his better judgement, he called out to the woman. The last time he talked to someone about a mission, he was almost killed. Perhaps today was a different day - not. "If you are, I hope you're good at hitting things. Because I can't. Literally." He smiled at the woman, hoping that she could pack a punch. Despite his body, he was not allowed to hit things. Well, he's not supposed to. Not according to his class, at least.

The loud sounds behind them were slowly catching up to them. Slowly. Jin knew that the thing must be massive. Its gait must have been double theirs. Their only saving grace was the fact that there were many twists and turns to this maze. That meant that the monster was having a hard time turning each corner, slowing it down naturally. This, Jin can work with.

A part of him was confused at the fact that he was taking all of this in stride. He was about to die. Potentially. Jin was not one to want to squander his life. But then again, perhaps this new "class" of his had something to do with it. And the fact that he swore to take things less seriously these days. However, this was still odd.

"I...have to admit. I don't know where we're going..." Jin spoke, looking towards his companions and smiling awkwardly. "I'm kinda just going forward? For all I know, we might be going into a loop..." He scratched his head, trying to come up with a plan. Unfortunately, he really wasn't a planner, which wasn't saying much.

Jin kept walking, trusting the fact that as long as they kept moving, the monster was not getting much closer. He glanced at his companions, before eyeing the guy with interest. "Hey, you seem like the gamer type. What do you think?" Jin looked at Dalton, hoping that the guy might have some solution or another. It was better than trusting everything to Jin. He certainly had little idea of anything much. Especially since he was still groggy from his nap, and really really wanted to lie down somewhere and take another shut-eye.

Jin peered at the man in front of him, and smiled. He was too lax, it seems. Maybe he should start talking to himself less. Jin new that this new world was a place where one cannot trust others easy. But then again, did he care much? And to be fair, this was a supposed safe zone. Or, at least, low risk? Whatever that meant...[break][break]
"Yes, it seems there's this Christmas event thing and it just dropped me the item." He pulled up his inventory, and clicked the item to have its description pop up. "Looks useful, but I would have preferred something else, if I'm being honest." Jin tsked, before closing his inventory and looking at his companion on the roof.

Smiling slightly, he continued, "Why? You interested?" Jin leaned back a little, clapping his hands, "If you have items, I'll be up for a trade! One would do...or maybe two?" If he were being honest with himself, he wasn't sure what this item was worth, but he wasn't in any rush to level. It would be too much of a hassle, he felt. "So? Wanna make a deal?" He grinned at the man, waiting for his response.

Oh, this guild was just lovely! All about peace and joy, working with everyone and anyone, it felt like a place where he could just...chill...

"Oh thank you! Don't mind if I do!" He accepted the guild invite, before holding out his hand in receiving the guild bandana. It wasn't really his style, but perhaps he could wrap it around his upper arm. That would be a nice place, and would be easily accessible if he needed to use the item. He wasn't even sure what the item could do!

As for the pets..."Oh, that would be lovely! Though I don't think taking anybody's pet is a good idea..." He thought about it for a moment, "Only if you both don't mind, I suppose...?" Jin was about to slink away when he saw what Dalton and his summon were up to. He had wanted to try to hide, to possibly go under the radar. But it seems that wasn't meant to be. And he felt bad for Dalton and his summon. Jin was the tank, after all. He should be the one taking the brunt of the damage.

With a sigh, Jin started running. "Hey! Rudolph! Come and get me!" He waved his hand out. As he did so, the debuff [Cetana] was immediately placed on the reindeer. He snapped his finger, and granting Noel the buff [Dharma], which should heal the fellow if he takes damage again. That should be enough, as he faced down the reindeer.

The beast...neighed? Perhaps that was what the sound was. It started running towards him, however. The massive body barreled forward, and Jin did the only sensible thing. He jumped to the side. He did it even before the reindeer got to him, understanding that it would be hard for the creature to turn abruptly. As it passed him, the reindeer took damage from its attempted attack, a product of [Cetana].

Hopefully that gave enough time for Dalton and Soyeon to regroup. He wasn't sure he could take the damage by this creature...

Jin was about to respond, when a wolf of some sort came up to him. He looked towards it and waved, smiling as he did so. The bark made him laugh, before he reached out and started petting the shadow wolf creature. "Oh, you're a good boy, aren't you? A good boy indeed!" He continued to pet the shadow wolf, before looking towards Dee Dee and nodding.

"If you have space for one more, I would love to join up. Though I myself do not have pets, I agree with your guild's goals of mutual trust and co-existence with every and all creatures. That is how we can find true peace in this world, after all." True peace means mutual co-existence and understanding, after all.

Jin sighed to himself before keeping the item. He himself did not have anything at this point in time. His inventory looked really sad, if he was being honest with himself. In any case, he knew he had time to find items that might actually fit him. For now, he'll keep these tokens, and perhaps find someone to trade it with.

Just as he was about to lie down for a nap, a voice broke his melancholy. He turned towards the person, before waving a hello.

"Hello there, I hope you're not here to rob me or anything." He looked at the man as seriously as he could for a moment, before laughing out loud. "Kidding! Kidding! The radio's mine, well, not really. I found it while scavenging, but I don't think it's a legit radio item. Just a mundane one...can't even put it into my inventory." He shrugged, before pointing towards the CD cases around. "Those as well. Some of 'em work, some of 'em doesn't unfortunately."

Taking a gander at the person, he thought out loud. "Hey, how did you get here without me hearing? The staircase over there was creaky as hell when I came up here. "That's one mean bat you got there! Give 'em hell, Soyeon!" He nodded towards the lady, before side-stepping an elf that seemed to be rushing past him.

These creatures were very interesting indeed. They were more focused on trying to get the presents that really did anything against them. Perhaps it was because Christmas was ending? Who knows. All he knew was that he needed to save as many of the gifts as possible. There was no need to fight if he didn't have to, right?

But of course, he was mistaken once again. Just as he picked up a gift to store, an elf started to gun towards him. It held its fist up high, more than likely going to swipe him. Quickly, he placed [Cetana] onto this creature, and watched as its fist met with something solid when it tried to hit him, and then deflected his strike to itself, effectively punching itself on its nose. "See, that's what you get for trying that...speaking of..."

Jin looked towards the guild leader, or who seemed like they were the guild leader, and nodded to himself.

There was so much activity here! The food, the summons, it was a hub of sorts. But what impressed Jin the most was the fact that everyone here seemed to just be...at peace with one another, both summons and humans just working in tandem.

Jin was unsure how he got here. Well, he knew why he was here, but he was unsure why there were people here, and why there was a huge building in what seemed to be the middle of nowhere.

His adventure here was to be of the research kind. Well, research in the sense that he wanted to see what the wildlife was like in the world. Not for hunting or anything like that. Animals were friends, after all. And to be at peace with the world, one must also be at peace with every single living being. Be they plants or animals. Don't get Jin wrong though, he still ate meat.

He stopped a moment outside of what looked to be a guild building. He could see some activity around. Closing his eyes, he breathed in the cool, crisp and clean air around him. He let it fill his lungs, slowing down his heart rate. He felt at peace here. It was a beautiful part of the world, though he knew that at any moment, a ravenous creature might just appear out of nowhere. That was the reality of this shitty world. But that didn't mean he wasn't going to live like he intended to.

Jin thought about it for a moment, before shaking his head. "A movie about a human who thought he was an elf? Whatever are they going to think of next..." Now that was a ridiculous notion. The height difference would have been a dead giveaway, right? It seems that Hollywood really needed to step up their game. Perhaps a better Christmas movie next time, one that Jin might actually want to watch. He sighed at that thought.

When an elf started attacking Dalton and his summon, Jin paused a moment and was deciding whether he should help or not. But before he could do anything, he found himself assaulted by another one. It was only his quick decision that helped his case when he waved his hand and placed the status effect [Cetana] onto the elf before it reached him.

"No, sir." The elf had struck him, but it ricocheted as the attack met his natural defense first. As it bounced back, the elf looked confused for a moment, before it started screaming as a wound appeared where it had been targeting Jin at. "And that's what you get for attacking me." Jin smiled at the evil elf before he continued on his task. "Dalton, Soyeon, let's stick to the side and give a wide berth from the centre of this place. The elves on the outskirts seem less...powerful." That was, fo course, a dig at the elf creature that rushed at Jin again, not learning its lesson.

Jin grunted as he moved his torso upwards, as though swinging himself up from sleep. His bleary eyes were watery for a moment before he brushed his knuckles onto them rubbing away the sleep in his eyes. He yawned, as though just waking up from a nice long nap, before looking towards the companions he was with.

"It seems we're stuck here together, at least for the time being." He smiled at them, before winking at the woman, "And certainly not her boyfriend, though..." Jin eye-smiled, before turning his attention to his surroundings now. A maze, is it? He was never good with mazes, horrid with them due to his lack of motivation to complete them. The ability to complete them, however, was well within his grasp. But why should he?

For survival, then. "I don't think this is a dream lady, or else I wouldn't have been woken up like this." He tsked, and opened up the menu that was blinking in his peripheral vision. "Oh? What's this?" It was his class, or at least, what he had chosen prior to plopping himself down to go to sleep. That had been ages ago, or was it just a few minutes prior? Who knows...

"No weapons here, but it seems like I don't need it." Jin glanced at the man that had joined their merry group. "Though, I don't think we're fighting. We should be...running away." At that, a loud resounding boom of a voice echoed around them. Or was that a roar? "And that's our signal, I think."

Sighing to himself, Jin walked forward, away from where the rush of air carried the sound from. He was not going to stick around and find out. "Come. It's better we stick together. Who knows, maybe we'll find a chest with weapons?" He smiled at the group lazily, before turning a corner.

Jin propped himself up on top of a low-level building listening to music as he went through his inventory. It looked like he was starting off with...nothing. "Ah...I guess I'm just starting off, after all..." He sighed to himself, before lying back down onto the concrete rooftop. He had planned on visiting Seoul to see the city he had wanted to visit when he was a teenager. Turns out the apocalypse didn't do it any favours.

And so he was here, listening to a playlist he was able to salvage in an abandoned music store, and was now playing it on a battery-operated radio. The radio itself was barely working, though the music was playing almost flawlessly, only slightly hitching in some places.

"What to do..." Before he could close his eyes, something popped up in front of him. A Christmas Event roll? He clicked the button and..."Level up tokens?" He was puzzled for a moment, before keeping the item in his inventory. Turning to his makeshift radio, he cranked it up louder before slowly closing his eyes. Perhaps he would nap. It was a fine day for one, after all. Well, it was a fine day to nap everyday, to be fair.
