He appeared next to a waypoint, one similar to where he came from, wherever it was. It was, however, nauseating for his first experience of spatial displacement; second should he count his sudden transport towards his tutorial dungeon sometime prior. [break][break] — SAFE? ZONE ENTERED — [break][break]A brief pop-up appeared before him, notifying that what he had entered was a safe zone of sorts. But what's with the question mark, he thought to himself. Dismissing this thought, Vincent took a brief glance around the immediate area surrounding him. It was London, alright. Not much changed aside from small topographical shifts and noticeably new victorian era architecture erected sporadically across the area. [break][break]On his left, Vincent held his spear, he knew not of how dangerous the area was just yet, especially with such a questionable safe zone label. His suit was rather raggedy now, tattered and dirtied from his unpleasant tutorial experience. He looked like a proper survivor now, yet still, an air of sophistication was ever present with him no matter how he might've looked. Naturally, it was also where he spent a lot of his time studying in his youth and as if by proxy, whenever he spoke English, he'd pick up on the accent quite readily. An absolute sponge, for sure, but now it seemed rightfully different. The change the world had undergone, and the blatant game-like permeated rules that they allmust abide by. Even with it addressing that this place was a 'safe zone' Susame felt no relative comfort from it.

While the white of his suit was hardly forgiving for any kind of wear, Susame thought it prudent to keep it as well-maintained as he could. Regardless, he was quite relieved he wore a red button down underneath, with all the blood he's going to need to use, it masked anything unpleasant unless you looked closely at it.

In his peripherals, he catches hints of someone he was familiar with, again, another survivor with potential and he turns his head to give him a look see, tips of his fangs faintly noticeable with his little smile.

Oh, he thought, just what he needed. The Asian man nearby was indeed a familiar face, he couldn't mistake it. He had been to Japan at least thrice a year, each time accompanying his parents to observe their dealings for him to learn more about their business and work effectively once it was his turn to take over the ownership of their conglomerate.
[break][break]Nine times out of ten, they had to perform talks and dealings with this man in particular; Fuyukami Susame. Perhaps the forerunner of Japan's tourism industry, he was the one who approved and managed the establishment of Crossworld Japan; a branch of their very own theme park featuring rides and attractions based on popular films and shows produced by Cross Studios.
[break][break]So he survived. Vincent sighed, he didn't want to deal too much with a man like Susame, if anyone made his parents fold in unease and discomfort, this man was one amongst others. He knew it'd be bad to ignore a man such as him, knowing well he had already been spotted. With some hesitation, Vincent approached the Japanese businessman, hoping their interaction to be brief and pleasant to some extent.
[break][break]"Not looking too shabby, Fuyukami-san." Greeted Vincent in fluent Japanese as he reached his arm forward, offering to shake much like the start of any formal business meet-up. "A long way from home, isn't it. How have you been." He added, in English this time around.

Susame's family was very traditional in their values, partly true and partly a front for the dark business behind the wealthy mask they deployed. Crossworld Japan did very well, and continued to do well before he was spirited away. Yet, despite the success, Susame didn't align himself passionately to it. It was merely a business and a business model, and he found it rather tiresome to hear of it.
He then wondered if Vincent felt the same, or maybe he was fully on board? The Fuyukami were as cold and frigid as the name suggested, but Susame relented mostly due to the words of his family and while his father was getting on in age he still had enough sway to make the final call.
But, Vincent was right in assuming he was the head of that department. His brother was off doing his own thing, and while it was still a facet of the business Susame had taken his seat dutifully. A bachelor, a golden throne, and recognized in Japan for being responsible for revitalizing the tourism industry. He's been to so many places in his country, that having his 'golden touch' was almost literal.
Businessmen like them were every bit part of the power struggle. Who could lead? Who would fold? Who would be devoured for their incompetence? Vincent walks over to him after a moment of hesitation, noted by Susame eagerly and silently. Greeted in his native language, Susame's relaxed smile greeted him first as was his hand. "Cross-san, I've been meeting a lot of familiar faces since I've been here." Yet, English would come through next, as fluent as was needed.
"What I find interesting is that you did not seem to physically change yet I have." He laughs and his fangs are on full display, sharpened like two devilish daggers. "Have you been busy acclimating?" While the white haired man only had two literal seconds leading their company, he had managed a small department of their business well before then. It was an odd feeling of having to meet an old acquaintance during such confusing times, more so when meeting a fellow man of business.

He wasn't quite sure if it's the case with Susame, however growing rich and moderately spoiled, Vincent became an avid player of video games growing up. If he learned a thing or two from his experiences as of recent, he knew for a fact that the world had changed to a system he could only ever compare to that of a roleplaying game. It made it easier for him to get accustomed to most of their new reality's mechanics, however, unlike your usual game, reality had no accessible tutorials to look for.
[break][break]He glanced at the Japanese man's fangs with one brow raised as Susame flashed them for him to witness. Interesting, he thought, so it was possible for you to permanently change depending on what class and power you have gained it seemed. "I haven't physically changed yet, no." Cross replied. "However, I seem to have gained the ability to sprout angelic wings given it's for a limited time only" He paused, recalling the biblical description of a Seraph, and shook his head; perhaps changing physically to fit his class in particular wouldn't be a good thing at all, not with a thousand eyes.

It was a comfort to know his thoughts were shared, that both men were too wary to think this was the best the world could throw at them. There were always surprises at every corner and they both knew better. Vincent chimed in that he did not receive any physical changes, however his class did give him angelic wings. The thought alone had the Japanese man stifle a small laugh. The thought was pretty funny, even better that they were direct opposites in design. "Sorry, I just found that a bit funny."
"I never really saw you as particularly 'divine' in that way. Surprises abound indeed." Another laugh and he rights himself again, crossing his arms in contemplation at the question given. Ah, yes, his tutorial. He closes his eyes to take him back to that place, the dark halls, the moans and groans of the undead and possessed faculty. Truly, a most nefariously haunted place. "A haunted Japanese elementary school, that's the tutorial i had taken part in. The faculty were....very welcoming." And there laid the hint that the foes were actually exactly that, but Susame didn't elaborate.
"For all of its twists and turns, I found it very fun. The two I was with? Not so much." They always did say back home that a Fuyukami was built 'different'. An icy fortress that cannot be penetrated unless given express permission past the gates. Runs in the family that fear didn't tread there either.
