Bullets struck the concrete all around her, as the blonde haired woman sprinted towards the light that was in front of her. A light that she had forgotten about during her time spent in this super maximum security hell hole. They thought she couldn’t escape, with all their rules, procedures, and ordinances in place, it should have been impossible, yet here she was, running. Blood streamed down her hands, dully hitting the floor with each new sprinting step that she took. It wasn’t her’s. [break] [break]
No, instead the blood belonged to the first guard she had shanked on her escape. Thru the bars she had shivved him, after noticing for the first time in two years…that he had made a mistake. The average person wouldn’t notice, but Three was no average person. She had been created for small details, especially ones that were the difference between life and death. So she would take his life, and it would be his death as she noticed a small key jutting out of his pocket. Muffling his mouth, she stabbed him repeatedly, pulling him closer as she took his keys and released herself from her 10x10 shit box. [break] [break]
As his blood pooled, she wasted no time, as she began to sprint towards where she thought the exit may be. Cell after cell, the other clones simply looked at her as she ran past. They knew she wouldn’t stop for them, they wouldn’t have stopped for her either, it was too risky. Instead they watched quietly as #3 ran, the only sound was her feet slapping against the concrete as she did so. Another guard. Before he could raise an alarm or complete his sentence which started with ”Hey y-..”, his body was already tumbling down the four stories, his body hitting the ground with a reverberating thud, bones snapping as he twisted into a mangled corpse. She didn’t stop. [break] [break]
Not even when the guns started firing, she kept going. Her shank was coming in handy, as it found its way home in another man’s throat. She didn’t stop. Sprinting down a tunnel, she could now see the light of “day”, however it was night time. How peculiar she thought to herself as her eyes squinted, attempting to bear something that she had not seen in years. Natural or unnatural light. The glacier like eyes sought for it, hungered for it, yet they were not prepared for it, as she was blinded as if hit by a flash grenade. [break] [break]
As she continued to be swallowed by the light…something changed. There was no longer any gun fire, and she had boots on. And a hoodie/jacket combination. As color screamed into existence over the bountiful amount of light, Something gave her three options, though the ringing of recent gunfire in her eardrums only allowed her to hear one, as she toiled over the words, ”Abyssal Scourge.” The words felt familiar as they rolled off her tongue. ”Abyssal Scourge confirmed.”, bellowed the screen which was floating on front of her, finally visible to her pale lifeless eyes. [break] [break]
Above her appeared to be stats. She wasn’t much for gaming, but if she had to say, it seemed like all the classic makings of an Roleplaying Game. Her lips were pressed together, as she breath heavily from her nose before realizing she had already caught her breath. Now the question would arise in her mind, where was she, and where was the prison she had just escaped? What was this shit
