Deep within the Hollow Hills of North America, a large cavern has been spotted. As you approach, several
warning screens will appear alerting the player that they are approaching a dungeon. The dungeon's entrance is located at the edge of a rocky cliffside. You'll gradually weave through the cavern's confusing tunnels until you'll reach the gate to the Inner Maze. Within, you'll find a typical maze filled with all your favorite monsters and traps. After you've finally navigated through the twisting inner maze, you'll emerge to the Inner Courtyard and face a terrible boss monster. While you are required to have a party in place to be in the maze, you can potentially swap members out as each region of the dungeon will have to take place in its very own thread. [break][break]

The Outer Maze is the actual cave itself to get down to the real maze. While the outer maze may not be as noticeable of a maze as you're thinking, it will lead you to hours of stumbling around. The outer maze is a network of large and narrow cavern tunnels that weave in the mountain before leading to a large chamber. The chamber will house the region's boss guarding the route forward. Once he has been defeated, you'll be given access to the Inner Maze. Those that have completed the Outer Maze and killed the boss will have the option to auto-teleport to the Inner Maze's starting point instead of having to walk back through the Outer Maze. [break][break]
Each party member rolls 1d20. This roll plus their character level determines their total result. The group as a whole must get above 50 (+10 for every party member past two) total to choose the right path. You’ll need to make the right choice twice within this thread to make it to the end of the Outer Maze and face the boss. On rounds where you fail, you’ll roll 1d10 as a party to see what challenge occurs. This can take the form of traps, mobs, or just a wasted round. [break][break]

Once you step through the large door and into the Inner Maze, you'll notice that unlike the previous maze, which was a network of tunnels; this maze is set in a massive open room with glowing crystals up above providing ample light. The walls of this maze seem to jet up to easily 50 feet tall. Just massive structures that are as thick as a car. No damage can be done to the walls nor can you fly above their highest peaks and cheat. You'll have to stumble your way through this region by once again rolling the dice. Upon reaching the end of this maze, you'll find a large room with another massive set of doors. [break][break]
Each person rolls 1d20. This roll plus their character level determines their total result. The group as a whole must get above a 70 (+10 for every party member past two) total to choose the right path. The Inner Maze will penalize your group total by -10 points for every [Melody] or a [Dissection] Anchor type in the party. You’ll need to make the right choice three times within this thread to make it to the end of the Inner Maze and face the boss. On rounds where you fail, you’ll roll 1d10 as a party to see what challenge occurs. This can take the form of traps, mobs, or just a wasted round. [break][break]

[break][break]
Other Frequently Asked Questions
[break][break]
- How many threads do I really need?
[break]
You'll need at least two threads. If you keep failing to reach the next stage of the dungeon, you cannot progress in a roundabout manner. - How many items can we bring?
[break]
Each party member is limited to five items in total. Not all these items have to be out at all times, but you are limited to five for the entire thread. These need to be stated at the start of the thread.
[break] - I can't see any boss information. When will that be revealed?
[break]
Once you've made the correct path the required number of times, post in Moderation. Staff will post the boss monster in your thread! - Can we level inside the dungeon?
[break]
Yes! Try to limit it to only 5 levels per thread. You must stay within the level range of your Tier after starting a thread until it ends. - How long can we take?
[break]
As long as you want. If you've completed the task for a region but still want to RP for the story, by all means do so. - If we complete a maze or mission multiple times, do we get the rewards each time?
[break]
No, you only get the rewards the first time you complete a maze or mission. You also cannot receive both rewards for completing the entire dungeon. - How do I determine the level of monsters?
[break]
Most monsters outside the boss and mini-boss have a range of levels and abilities. Outside of figuring out how many there are with the rolls, you can give them appropriate levels for you, and have them use any or none of the abilities we have listed for them. Granted, if staff sees you taking things too easy, we might have to step in. - What if our group hasn't finished an encounter, do we still need to roll?
[break]
No! You can wait for your current encounter to end before rolling again.
