For as terrible as this new world was sometimes, there were definitely nice things to be had! Summer had always wanted to go to Paris but money was never really available for it, so to be able to teleport there and actually be able to spend her time here it was honestly lovely! However there was still stress, it was coming up for Valentine's Day after all and she didn't have a date or anything, she was still desperately single! She was already in Paris when this thought hit her and so it was time to get to work! She immediately started to try and set up dates through various methods, even going so far as to sign up for some blind date events!

At this moment she was sitting on a bench with a milkshake in one hand that she was absentmindedly sipping through a straw. Surely someone would listen to her pleas and at least come and spend some time with her? Like she knew her pretend husband would spend time with her but best friends just wasn't the same as romance, even if he was pretty dang cute to be fair. She puffed out her cheeks for a moment and shook those thoughts free from her head, already feeling her cheeks turning bright pink. Maybe someone would come by soon, maybe even someone that recognised her or was just looking for some romance as well?

She looked up and down the street but nope, no one there just yet. With a long sigh she dropped her head and went back to her phone, typing up some lists as to some fun activities that she could do to maybe meet other people? Were there even any nightclubs set up here? It wasn't a safe zone so that might be kinda dangerous... On that thought she checked her pocket for her glasses but they were there luckily and her belt was still securely on, her weapons in their own little pocket dimension waiting for her to call them forth so she would be safe anyway. Back to her list it was, apparently there were some cooking classes coming up? Even some paired painting! Oh that idea sounded splendid, she'd need to check up on that...

Helen hummed to herself. Despite the dramatic change that had overtaken the world, some things remained the same – Zack was off in school for the morning, which meant that she had a few hours to herself. And the silver lining of this whole scenario was that she could travel more easily throughout the world.[break][break]
Paris was as lovely as she’d hoped it’d be. She’d never had the chance to come around here before, and when Zack was born, she was sure those days would be a long time away. But things had changed...considerably. [break][break]
Out of the corner of her eye, Helen spotted a pink-haired woman sitting alone. Speaking of lovely sights…[break][break]
Helen approached the woman slowly. “You look a bit lonely, miss,” she said, with a warm, sincere smile. “Are you waiting for anyone in particular or just by your lonesome?”

A voice from nowhere was truly one of the last things that Summer was expecting. She jumped and let out a pretty loud squeak before fumbling to catch her phone as it threatened to tumble from her hands and smash on the floor, she had no idea how she'd fix it if it did, was there even any phone repair shops around anymore? Luckily she managed to catch it with a loud relieved sigh before immediately snapping her eyes up to see who had spoken to her. It took a few blinks for Summer to register that she should probably speak back but to be fair with how the woman looked, it was easy to understand where all of Summer's thoughts went.

The pink-haired girl immediately shot to her feet and put her phone in her pocket before giving the other individual a bright smile. "I'm so sorry I didn't even notice you there! Uh yeah I'm... On my own unfortunately, I'd tried setting up a date but you know how that goes!" Her grin was a bit more reserved this time as she reached up to gently rub the back of her own head. She could feel the embarrassment building already but that happened a lot when she was dealing with attractive people.[break][break]
"Oh yeah my name's Summer! It's really nice to meet you! What about you, why are you here? Doing anything fun or, y'know... Seeing anyone fun? It is coming up for Valentine's Day after all!" She gave a small wink before turning away for a moment to not only grab her milkshake but also hide the pink touching her cheeks as she couldn't quite believe she had said something like that, she took a drink to cool herself off before turning back to look at the woman once more.

Helen tried not to smirk. Was the other girl noticing her, too? She did like landing these things – it appealed to her considerable sense of vanity. “So you got the shaft, hm? Well, they’d have to be out of their minds to stand you up,” said Helen, with a wink. “Anyway, they’re probably not worth your time, whoever they are. Wouldn’t know a good thing if it hit them on the head, Summer.”[break][break]
“I’m not really seeing anyone, no. But now that you mention it, that does give me an idea…” Helen tapped her chin. “Do you need someone to keep you company right now? I hope I make a good consolation prize, if nothing else.” She fluttered her eyes almost unwillingly; this was getting good. She could still get ‘em!

Summer could actively feel her body heating up, especially her cheeks, she didn't often get attention like this. It took a few moments for her rapidly overheating brain to try and switch into a mode where she could try and be suave and not mess all of this up. "Oh I know, too many flakes these days! Almost makes me worry about my looks!" She stuck her tongue out slightly before reaching up to twirl a strand of her bright pink hair around her finger. She took a deep breath to steady herself, she wasn't sure if this woman had any ulterior motives but to be fair, Summer would probably thank her if she tried to murder her, so that was kind of a moot point.[break][break]
"A consolation prize?! I think you'll find you're more like an olympic gold medal, nothing consolation about you. If you want to spend time with little ol' me though then I'm not gonna complain in the slightest." She moved a little closer and then glanced around for a second before pouting, noticing that as she had jumped up, she had knocked over her milkshake. Turning back to the woman she gave a sheepish grin. "I know somewhere nearby selling milkshakes, we can go get one if you want? My treat!" She thought about adding something more but her anxiety got the better of her and she simply bit her bottom lip slightly instead.

Maybe she could add a little something though. "Oh, you never told me your name! I'd love to give a name to such a radiant beauty as yours!" She managed to hold it together but only barely and she knew she was blushing bright red.
