As far as Dantalion was concerned his community was religious but pure, they worked for the betterment of each other and to fight in a war that fate would spring on them. The stores of weapons, the caches, even the blocks of plastic explosive he wasn't allowed to touch as a child, none of that worried him or made him afraid, after all he knew it all had a glorious purpose. The Last Bastion Prophecy was what all of this was in aid of, the finest gift his community and family could have left him. The world would be consumed in sin and light and the voice of the world would announce the end of days. The Last Bastion would then fight against the sinners and demons that roamed the earth and turn it to a new Eden for the Righteous to return to. [break][break]
Of course that's the biased view from inside the Last Bastion. In truth this is a Doomsday Cult and one that got lucky, unfortunately for everyone else to cleanse the world of sin and evil it all has to be burned to the ground. Hope and Goodness could not blossom and bloom while cruelty, sin and hatred soaked the very stones of the buildings. Righteousness goes hand in hand with destruction and be it with gun, be it with explosive, be it with his damn bare hands, Dantalion was not about to allow the world to be soaked in evil. He'd take it upon himself, he would rip the world asunder and scatter the ashes to build a new stairway to heaven. For in the light of a new Utopia, his own indiscretions, his own vices and sins would be forgiven and cleansed. The Prophecy spoke of Ragnarok and he would be its finest Warrior, the Gift of Prophecy told him this.
Upgrades at S rank [VIT]
[break][break]
[break]
Fury (Weapon): The weapon of War is the fusion of a shotgun and a lance, made to devastate anyone a target of War’s ire. The lance is made for power, and deals [basic] damage equal to one’s [PWR], however the weapon is rather cumbersome and while wielding it your [SPD] is reduced -1 Rank. After stabbing a target with the lance, you are capable of discharging the shotgun once per post to deal damage equal to your [MAGI] - 1 Rank. Once fired twice, the shotgun requires 2 posts to reload. [break][break]
Ruin (Tool): War also carried a cat o' nine tails whip named Ruin. This whip is a medium-range weapon, limited to only 5 meters around you. When swung it deals your [PWR] stat in damage. Those who have [DEF] lower than your [PWR] will take not only the first instance of [PWR] damage but an additional 25% of [PWR] damage per rank difference in the two stats. Those struck will take E-rank to bleed damage directly to their [VIT], bypassing [DEF] for the following two posts, this cannot stack but can refresh with new strikes. [break][break]
Rampage (Weapon): The weapon of Conquest is the combination of a bow and a sword, made to allow for domination at close or long range as Conquest intended. The sword isn’t too powerful dealing [basic] damage equal to [PWR] - 1 Rank, however it is quick being able to attack a number of times in a single post based on one’s [SPD] (equals the number of times projectiles can be fired based on [SPD]). It is capable of being switched to bow form, which deals damage equal to [MAGI]. Once switched, there is a 1 post cooldown before you can switch it again. [break][break]
Victory (Tool): Conquest also carried around a canister of [Fog of War], known as Victory. This is a canister that can be lobbed up to 2 meters per rank your [PWR] is past E-rank. Once it lands, the canister will release a thick fog that covers the space of your [MAGI] stat divided by five meters. Those inside will instantly take a debuff of 30% to their [SPD] while in the fog. If their [WIL] is lower than your [MAGI] they will also have their vision reduced to only 5 meters around them. This is further reduced by a 1-meter per rank difference in the two stats. The fog remains for two posts before fading away. The canister will reform on your belt two posts after the last post the fog is sustained. [break] [break]
Strife (Weapon): The weapon of Famine is the fusion of a pistol and a rapier, and is made to whittle an opponent down like Famine’s spreading disease or gnawing hunger. The rapier deals [basic] damage equal to your [PWR] - 2 Ranks, while the pistol does damage equal to [MAGI] - 2 Ranks, however each deals a minimum of F-Rank damage and upon the attacks landing the target also takes [bleed] damage equal to the damage dealt on their next post. The pistol is capable of being fired once per post, and has 5 shots before it must be reloaded. It requires 1 post to reload. [break][break]
Decay (Tool): Famine also carried a Tripcaster, named Decay, a device that allows them to place tripwire traps. To set a trap, they first will fire off one line anywhere up to 10 meters away from their location. They can fire the second wire up to 3 meters from the first. Once placed, the wire will disappear from sight if your [SPD] is lower than the caster’s [PWR]. If an enemy comes into contact with the wire, they will be dealt your [PWR] -2 ranks in damage. If their [DEF] is lower than your [PWR], they will become bound to that 3-meter space for the next two posts. Only two wire traps can be placed at a time. [break][break]
Despair (Weapon): The weapon of Death is the combination of a sniper rifle and a scythe, and it is made to reap souls and send them into the clutches of Death. The scythe form of this weapon deals [basic] damage equal to [PWR], and performs large sweeping strikes; however its weight and balancing makes it so that you can only strike with it once per post. It can be switched to its sniper form, which deals damage equal to [MAGI] + 1 Rank, though it retains the same restriction of one shot per post. The rifle can be fired 3 times before it must be reloaded and it requires 3 posts to reload. Once switched, there is a 2 post cooldown before the weapon can be switched again. [break][break]
Quietus (Tool): Death also carried around a hidden blade on his person that would release from his wrist at will, called Quietus. This blade can only be used in a melee fashion at close combat. This hidden blade is only a foot or so long and retracts immediately after it springs out for a quick and seamless strike. Those struck will be dealt your [PWR] in damage but if their [DEF] is lower than your [PWR], this will be increased by 25%. If their [WIL] is lower than your [MAGI], they will have all abilities currently on cooldown to have their cooldowns further by 1 post per rank difference in the two stats. This hidden blade can strike once per post and the sinister effect can only be applied to the same target once per three posts. [break][break]
