ITEMS ABILITIES USED [attr="class",robtext]“Bonzai!” On the edge of a silent forest a voice could be heard shouting. A portal opened up sending out a sprawled young man. The lightly dressed man was Emir. The guy was sweating as the sun beat on him. He looked around to see if his companions that went through before him were present. Not seeing them did not fill him with panic. Emir just opened up the menu to see the party status. The notification showed him as being alone. He did not think too hard about it. From the time spent with the other two he understood them to be fighters of the highest caliber. If they were dead it was not like there was anything he could do about it.

ITEMS ABILITIES USED [attr="class",robtext]Emir dragged his tired self off the ground. He wanted to check out the area. It would be easier for him to look for a place to go. A little cottage caught his eye. It was nice and gave him good vibes. He walked over to it and knocked on the door.
“Who is it?” A nice voice called out from the other side before opening it.
Emir put on a big smile and a friendly demeanor. “Sorry to disturb you. I am a traveler seeking shelter. Would it be okay for me to relax here for a bit. I can pay you.” Emir took out some spare pounds he kept on him.
The lady smiled and shook her head. “Those are useless to me. If you like you can go and collect some herbs for me. I wanted to do it but I am very busy at the moment. If you do, you can come back here to rest, I will even include a free meal.”
The young business mogul was flabbergasted. He had never heard of the word free before. The system prompted and gave him a quest message. “Sure. I can handle this much.” Emir gave a verbal reply as he accepted the quest in question.

ITEMS {Spoiler} ABILITIES USED [attr="class",robtext]Making his way to the forest Emir took a glance at the menu. It was helpful to have the system; it was not in depth but it gave a picture of the plants he could collect for the mission. That was useful enough for someone like him who never had to rough it. It was a shame the mission did not come with a trowel.
Searching the forest was more work than Emir thought it would be. It took him an entire fifteen minutes to find his first plant. It was a small little weed like a flower. The petals were yellow and it had a nice refreshing lemon scent. Emir was most sure the flower was not present in the world prior to his tutorial. His mini green mansion had every flower pretty much present in the various sections of it. It was the closest to being outside he could get at times. None of the plants he had smelled like lemons besides the actual lemon plant. He packed it away and received a notification.

Not that it would have helped.” Emir was starting to talk audibly to himself for a bit. It was easier for him to get his thoughts outside of his head at times. He was processing the ever rapidly changing world as best as he could.
“There you are!!!” Emir was able to locate a little bush. The part of the plant to be harvested was not the leaves but a part of the roots. It reminded Emir of little potatoes. They gave off a sweet smell. Emir was tempted to grab one and give it a little taste nibble. He refrained in order to complete the mission faster. The sooner he finished he could get that meal.

ITEMS {Spoiler} ABILITIES USED [attr="class",robtext]The last two plants were the hardest to find. Kota spent a decent amount of time trapezing about the forest. The only reason he did not get lost was because he refused to go deeply into it. The dude was a lot of things but he did not wish to lose sight of the edge. If he went deeper maybe he would have found all the things needed for the quest a lot faster.
Luck, fate, destiny, or something else. It could be called a lot of things but Emir must have had some of it. His middle eastern self was able to find the two last ingredients right next to each other. They were hidden underneath the shade of a large tree. If it was not for that he may have found them earlier.
Emir picked them up to throw in his bag when he felt a pressure on his leg. A large vine was starting to entwine his way around it. A moment more and the night walker would be screwed.

Faster than the vines, tendrils of darkness enveloped him. He sunk into the ground and moved away from the tree as fast as he could. His speed was increasing and he was lucky that using his skill desert night, along with his passive made him a slippery fish. He was able to get away from the tree without so much as a scratch.
Emir popped out of the darkness after he got as far as he could. It only took him a bit more to get out of the forest. He scampered over to the cottage and knocked on the door. The lady opened the door with a smile. She was happy Emir was able to get what she needed. He made his way inside. There was a bed and food ready. He ate and slept feeling his body recover and glad for the respite.
