Giovanni continued to walk onward through the rolling mist, so far he hadn't seen anything and besides the sounds of crumbling buildings and his own footsteps, the area around him seemed eerily quiet, to his understanding this area was supposed to be some medium-risk place.[break][break]

From what he learned most places were graded in risk from low, medium, and high he decided he would steer clear of the high one for now as he had no idea what that entailed, and as for the low, well he had yet to stumble on such a place, but he felt confident that if he came across something here he would be able to defend himself thanks to his class. If not he could always run away, however, as he moved further and further away from the waygate his thoughts on such began to take a turn for worry.[break][break]

Then he heard a voice ring out from the side of him, he turned quickly reaching for his gun, only to once again realize that he no longer had such. He'd have to get used to that, sooner rather than later. As he looked he could make out a human silhouette, and as they came closer so did their picture, and what seemed to be something translucent hidden in the mist, he couldn't truly make it out just that something was there.[break][break]

He mentally reviewed the situation, the voice didn't seem hostile, nor was the person approaching in a hostile manner. They appeared human so that was good, however, in this new world one never knew what everyone's intentions were. Airing on the side of caution Giovanni called out the person. "Stay where you are, don't come any closer," he said in a deep commanding tone placing a single hand up away from his body, palm pressed outward as if to say stop. [break][break]

He mentally prepared to dawn his suit in case the man attacked, he wasn't too familiar with things, whether or not people could harm one another, he knew that some places were made for it, and others like The Hub, not so much... Still, he knew too little right now to be calm, perhaps if this person was friendly they would be able to tell him more information. [break][break]

Giovanni contemplated summoning his armor and going on the offensive the moment he saw the vague visage within the mist. However, as it became more apparent, he found himself gruntled for his engrained sense of restraint. His mind was at ease as he saw a rather unassuming-looking man walking through the mist. He squinted at the aberration hidden within the fog.[break][break]

He found himself slowly becoming more at ease in this strange dystopian land, seeing the man raise a hand had made caused him to let down his guard, if only slightly. He turned to face the man as his voice rang out, and he let the man speak. He raised an eyebrow as the man spoke. The man had willingly offered some information, though Giovanni was reluctant to believe it. Instead, he analyzed the words, it made sense that it would be hard to come across any other humans within this area, especially with the thick mist rolling about. [break][break]

Additionally, the man stated he was looking for some form of hunting ground, Giovanni figured the man was referring to creatures, however, he couldn't rule out that what the guy meant was a hunting ground involving humans. He had yet to come across such people outside of within tutorial, those few that were desperate to survive which he couldn't blame them for. He himself was just as self-preserving as the rest. Giovanni decided to speak, mentally readying himself to call forth his armor at a moment's notice if he so deemed. It was one of the things he enjoyed the most out of his class, being able to armor himself completely with but a mere thought. Doing so manually would've been so time-consuming he was sure he'd have to walk around in it all the time just to be safe. Granted with how he felt in his suit he wouldn't mind that. Even if it would become stifling at times. Though he did wonder about how difficult it would be to do his usual duties, cooking, eating, and bathing would become a rather large and difficult chore to do such in if he could even manage such. Granted such thoughts weren't relevant at the moment.[break][break]

Thus Giovanni turned his mind back to the task at hand speaking to the man in a voice loud enough for him to hear, his tone was demanding and firm as he spoke, "Stop right there," Giovanni said holding up a single palm and gesturing for the man to stop. He brought his hand down slowly before speaking again, "What's that within the mist beside you?" He stated, before quickly continuing, "What type of hunting ground are you looking for in this place?" He asked, his inquisitive mind getting the best of him.[break][break]

Though the boy's response would either prompt him to attack or remain cautious. It had been only a short while since he had run across others, so far he had only met a few people within his tutorial and from The Hub which he had yet to fully explore, though the thought of doing such later did ruminate in the back of his mind.[break][break]
