He avoided obstacles like the plague, protecting himself no longer a viable option. Even if he acquired a weapon, he was not built to put his life on the line, especially not with this new system forcing him into the Support role.
He did not remain at his parents' house, thankfully finding that still standing. He gathered what he needed from his room and around the house before leaving once more, this time with London as his destination.
Perhaps he should have stuck around longer, but, well... His parents were not there when he arrived. He was not going to wait around for them.
He arrived in London only yesterday and immediately found a vacant room at an inn. One long bath later, he passed out for a solid three hours (more than he had gotten in one sitting for at least a decade).
At the break of dawn, he slipped out of the rundown inn. He had overheard someone mention the scattered safe zones throughout the city instead of one singular zone. Figuring out which areas he should avoid would come later.
For now, he needed to figure out where to go for breakfast.
