In all his life, Auriel has always been able to count on his sister, Argent. Whether it was for a shoulder to cry on, a wake-up call, or someone to tell him when he was being a tool, his twin would be there to keep him grounded. They were different, yes, he a perfectionist and her a rebel, but whereas others would describe them as light and shadow Auriel knew that wasn't the case. They were more like the sun and moon, each paralleling each other, Argent reflecting his grace and Auriel bringing warmth to her coolness. One could not exist without the other, and they were similarly tied.[break][break]
So when she disappeared at the start of this new world order, his heart broke a thousand times over. He was without a moor in a storm the likes of which he had ever experienced. No one to temper him, to tell him that he didn't have to keep up his veneer of perfection all the time, no one to remind him that he was human and always would be. So he lost a bit of his humanity. Now, severed from the one person he cannot do without, Auriel looks for Argent. And he will find her, even if he has to illuminate every shadow and pierce everyone around him with spears of radiant light...hypothetically of course.

The Lantern Knight is a class that channels their ambition and desires into literal action. They use their strength to channel literal flames, to guide themselves and others safely to their destined paths. Every knight has a trusty weapon, you currently start with 1 free [basic] weapon in your inventory. You have a limited well of energy that you can draw on to protect yourself or others from harm this is known as [Fuel]. You start with 4 [Fuel] points and every 3 posts during a thread you gain +2 [Fuel] points. Fuel can be used in a variety of ways but is a finite resource, it can be used to enchant and empower your weapons or others. It can be consumed to activate or utilize aspects of abilities. Your core allows you to start with three direct uses for fuel:[break][break]
Warmth - You can designate a 10 ft circle in diameter anywhere within 20 feet of you, within that circle those in it are healed for +1 [VIT] stat per each point of [Fuel] you designate for consumption. Last up to 3 posts, and has a 4 post cooldown.[break][break]
Burn - You create a 2-inch rune within the palm of your hand that shines like a bright fiery light. You can touch this to an item, weapon, or physical body. In doing so it becomes enchanted and will become coated in flames that don't hurt the wielder or you. It increases [PWR] +1 rank, and will burn what the enchanted object strikes. Consumes 3 [Fuel] points. Last up to 4 posts, and has a 4 post cooldown.[break][break]
Scorch - You create a flaming kite shield that is 4 feet in size, this shield can be extended to reach 15 feet in size. It can float around you at your [SPD] and may block 1 attack equal to your [DEF] each post. You can cause this to defend against damage equal to +1 rank in [DEF] by consuming additional fuel points up to a total of 2 times per post. Consumes 3 [Fuel] points. Last 3 posts, and has a 4 post cooldown.

Will-O:
You can create a small 1-foot lantern, it burns with a flame in the middle that seems to stir. It floats stationary in the air illuminating the area around it up to 10 feet. It can be launched outward up to 20 feet away at a target and upon making contact it creates a fiery explosion dealing damage equal to your [PWR] stat up to 10 ft in diameter. This lantern will only exist for 2 posts before dissipating if not destroyed. You can allow the flames to linger by consuming a number of [Fuel] points up to (3) three total after the initial post in which it exploded. The lingering flames deal damage equal to 50% of your [PWR] for an additional post equal to the number of fuel points consumed. Brave Blaze:
You create a large flame that is 20 feet in diameter around you. You can control the shape of this flame and manipulate it to your whim. It moves at your [SPD] and deals damage equal to your [PWR]. Simultaneously, each friendly being that you designate within 20 feet of you (including yourself), gains an advantage against status effects and debuffs and as such will [cleanse] a single one of your choosing, as long your [MAGI] is at least higher than/equal to the stat used to issue the status effect or debuff. Additional debuffs and status may affect be cleansed from all targets you designated as well as yourself at the cost of 1 [Fuel] per additional cleanse of a debuff or status effect.
