out there after hours. I’m not sure what’s going on but we’ve heard several people talking about seeing some large burst of fire and light in the evening hours. I’m not too sure what could be going on up there. You hear some strange noises out this way. I’ve learned to not stick my nose in holes it doesn’t belong in. That’s how it got pinched by some Mountain Crabs. Little fuckers look like rocks and snap right at your face if given the chance. But anyways, it seems that there was a party of low-level people that went out that way. Only two returned out of the party of six. The remaining two put a reward to whoever can find their friends. They said they got separated when a cavern collapsed on them. There’s an alternative route but it's pretty dangerous. Instead of cutting through the mountain, you’ll have to work your way around it. In the region known as the Everest, there has been a murmur going around. People talk of the sound of metal being hammered echoing throughout the valleys. Large fires and plumes of smoke can be seen along the mountain peaks late in the evenings. Not only that but streams and rivers are starting to become less abundant. Something is going on up there. Right now, the only people that have dared to go up was a party of six low levels. Four of the six never returned. You’ll need to go speak with the remaining two and get some information before heading up into the mountains.

• There seems to be freshly carved stone
• Small steps and caverns can be found littering the mountainside.
• You’ll find that the rivers and streams along the mountain seem to barely even trickle
• The party found a river diverted and damned up. They followed it into the mountain before the cavern collapsed.

Upon learning the details, you’ll be given the mission Heart of the Mountain this will prompt you to go up the mountain and explore where the rivers that diverted went. You’ll have to follow small trails and deer paths up the rocky terrain. Along the way, you’ll find traces of skirmishes and abandoned homes with small smithies. Following the path, you’ll find your way to a cavern where small dwarves with blue and grey skin. They will have taken over a gem mine and be operating out of it. By slaying the dwarves or evading them, make your way to the middle of their encampment. There you will see a gem glowing the same blue that the dwarves appear. Steal it and the power of the dwarves, stopping their threat to the people of the mountain.
