Crom appears in a place he has never seen before after having finished his tutorial. “This is not where I’m from Earth-chan.” He stated simply, even with the place destroyed he could see that there was buildings with writing on them in english. “Who takes someone from Russia and throws them somewhere else in the world!” He stated angrily, Crom was a bit upset to say the least that he already had to take part in this crazy game forced upon him but now he was in a place he had never been too or was familiar with.

“Fine if you are going to put me in a place where I am unfamiliar the only I can do is look around.” Crom said aloud as he didn’t currently see anyone nearby, though he was reminded that this could be a dangerous place and for a moment was on guard ready to run if needed or fight if he had too. “Wait isn’t this suppose to be like a safe zone? That was what they said once we completed the Tutorial.” Crom pondered to himself as he walked around the area, studying the landscape and taking in the sights. At least this place wasn’t completely messed up, where he was was just on the tip of his tongue though it was like he had seen movies or tv shows based out of here but couldn’t quite place where he was. It was then he heard a series of whistles nearby, Crom wasn’t sure if it was monsters, an alarm system of sorts or just someone out in the middle of no where whistling which sounded even crazier then the other options.

So Crom traveled into the directions of the whistles and what he came upon was another person of darker skin petting what looked to be a Ghost fox of some sort. “what the fuck.” Came out of his mouth before he even thought to stop himself from speaking. Crom decided to approach this person as he hoped they had a better idea on what was going on in the area then he did. “Hey! Fox guy!” He called out with his hands visible to hopefully show he wasn’t some threat.

Crom watched as the guy he had called out to go into a slurge of information about if he was allowed here and he didn’t know or not and how he just appeared here, and there was a moment where Crom just kind of sighed in defeat but also relief that someone was in a similar situation as him. Once that moment passed though Crom realize he could understand the person perfectly. Crom had been speaking Russian when calling out to the pinked hair guy, and he doubted he happened across the only Russian here.

“yes you.” Crom answered the guy. “I have no clue if we are allowed here. Same thing happened to me.” He explained kind of glad he didn’t have to worry about the language barrier. “Just calm down a bit. Do you know where this is? Like country? City? Anything?” Crom asked hoping that this person actually knew where they were unlike Crom who had no clue.

Los Angeles. Well that explains why it seemed familiar but not at the same time, the amount of movies that came from the west that showcased their story taking plot in this very city was insane. “Huh so this is Los Angeles.” Crom stated kind of disappointed that his first travel to the United States was during this insanity. The pink haired guy asked him if he had been in a desert too or if he had been somewhere cooler, Crom assumed he was talking about the Tutorial they had just completed.

“No I was in my university’s Lab doing research when this happened then once it was completed I got sent here. Which doesn’t make sense cause why send someone from out of the states to the states?” Crom said with a slightly annoyed inflection. Granted he didn’t have anything back in Russia to worry about but it was still annoying to be transported across the world. Crom also wasn’t dressed for this weather either, so he had to remove his coat as it was getting way to hot with it on. “So you got sent to a desert? Did you have to fight monsters or something?” Crom asked as he got closer to the other guy making it easier to talk to, “Also I’m Crom by the way.” He introduced himself.

The man asked Crom some standard questions, “Yes, I’m from Russia. Seems like I’ll need to get more fitting clothes if I’m going to be around here though.” Crom said as he had tied his jacket around his waist since he didn’t have a place to exactly put it. It looked like the pink haired man did know this area pretty well and that was a relief the man was even able to point out some spots by name though it seemed it had been some time since he had been here from his own words.

“In the middle of a Canyon?” Crom said in disbelief hearing about how this person who introduced themselves as Dakota told him about their own Tutorial, Crom shook Dakota’s hand when offered making sure to give a firm handshake. “I do understand the peril of having to deal with sudden monsters out of nowhere.” Crom nodded along hearing about Dakota’s fight for his life. It seemed Dakota knew where he wanted to go, “Definitely going to tag along, as much fun as it would be to wander aimlessly in a place I’ve never been I’d rather not deal with possible monsters.” Crom said to Dakota’s offer with a chuckle. He looked to the air to see the smoke that Dakota had been talking about. “Well if anything it doesn’t look like its to far and if this is anything like those animes and books. There has to be some kind of safe zone right?” Crom said with confidence but also while kind of asking at the last part hoping that it was true.

Crom would take up a spot next to Dakota as they made their way on whichever side his little what looked to be some kind of ghost fox creature. “So what’s the deal with Casper the friendly ghost fox?” Crom asked as he studied the creature, he wouldn’t touch him or try to interact with him physically till he knew it was safe. No reason to get on anyone’s bad side by being overly curious.

“I jest currently, but with the world how it is right now I wouldn’t be surprised that some kind of variant is out there.” Crom said while pondering things. If he gave it any real time it could be possible that there is some super mutant like creature or monster roaming the world now. Everything was to fresh and new to really get a good idea on what the world’s new norm was.

“Yeah we haven’t quite been able to find out anything about how society as a whole is holding up yet, I’m hoping its like those mangas where there are safe zones or something similar.” Crom replied back to Zhao’s questions on how things were and what they knew. Backing up what Dakota was saying, “The walking dead was a great series just seemed to fall off after awhile in my opinion though I’d rather there not be people just coming back to life as monsters.” Crom offered as the continued their little hike through the fallen city.

“You know they really showed that Los Angeles was always bustling and moving and things were always happening. We haven’t come across anyone besides Zhao here. Where are the enemies? The people?” Crom asked as he scanned the area, something felt weird for how much destruction was around them. Did the people who did survive clear out this area or something or were they just being watched by the ones who caused the destruction.
