I was born in Birmingham, Alabama to Mark and Mary Pots. We moved to Columbus when I was five. Just them two and my brother, Rodney. Ruth didn't come along until we moved again. Don't worry, I'll get to that.

As I was saying, my mother and father decided to head up north shortly after I turned five. Columbus was a nice enough city. There were good schools, high fashion, and great Sunday schools. Grangran and Poppa, my parent's, always kept us kids busy. If it wasn't with schoolwork it was with chores. I remember I was always tasked with drying the dishes off after meals. Randy would wash, until he was too cool for that, then I did both.

Ruth came along and the five of us really grew into a typical family of the time. We loved our movie rental nights, going to the new Walmart and seeing all our friends there, and of course we all hated Communist. Regan really was the global star back then. I felt proud to be an America. It carried weight back then. This one time, Randy took me to Cozumel for our anniversary and you'd thou....Oh I'm getting off-topic? Sorry.

After high school, I opted to go to OSU, go Bulldogs! That's where I met Randy, the love of my life. We both were part of the college's ministry in the Buckeyes group. We knew before that first year was over that we were meant to be. He took me up to Cleveland the weekend before graduation and asked me the big question! Of course, I said yes. Well, I tell ya, it was a fairy tail of a wedding. Randy was all dressed up in a white tuxedo, very popular in those days. I got a dress with the biggest puffs and frills you can imagine. Even got my hair curled for it and everything. Patty did it, she's been doing my hair for years. Yep, three times a year: Christmas, Easter, and OSU Tailgating season. Okay okay, I get it I'm going on and on. You better not cut me off before I talk about my pride and joys! I don't care what sort of alien space thing you are.

I'll make it quick. Jeez. First off is my baby that made me a mother. My sweet, Ashley. She just turned sixteen back in March. I'm going to have to have a glass of chardonnay anytime I get in the car with her. Let me tell you. She's a junior in high school and planning to attend OSU when she graduates.

Now Aaron is my second. He's at that age where he stinks even after a shower and his socks have become so hard to can register them as weapons. He is a freshman this year and struggling a bit in algebra. I tell him to ask his father for help all the time but does he listen to me? Noooooo.

Alexander and Alexandra are my twins. Wasn't planning to have twins but I was blessed to have them. They're my pride and joy. Alexander is attending acting classes at the community college down off Elm street. While Alexandria has been taking up ballet. They have a fall performance but I guess that will get canceled with this whole...Light thing.

Finally, there is my sweet sweet cup of sugar, Arthur. God, he is so sweet. I've never met a more perfect baby. Didn't cry, didn't fuss. Just wanted to be with his mommy. Last year was hard to have him go to preschool. This year was harder when he started elementary school. I tell you, I had to cry in my mini-van for at least thirty minutes of that Dunkin' parkinglot.

Oh my gosh. Listen to me going on and on. I haven't even asked you a question. Like where are my children? Where is Randy? He was just on his way home and now poof. Arthur was sitting there watching his tablet and poof. All gone. Now, I'm stuck looking high and low for these kids. Randy told me to get the watches with the trackers built in but I said I trusted my babies. Well this mamma is about to have a breakdown.
