Waking up late, as was usual for him, Alex found himself without his companion.
Hmmmm... Jun must be a morning person. Unfortunate.
After struggling to properly wake up for a few more minutes, Alex gathered his bearings and decided to go for a walk downtown, see how much the world had changed. But before that:
Oh right. Hey Gears, come on out buddy.
With a few clicks of the blue screen everyone was fast getting accustomed to, the clockwork spyglass spider materialized out of Alex's Inventory. Gears jumped up and down, seemingly happy to be physical again.
As the 2 made their way along one of the smaller roads, they couldn't help but notice the many parked cars, along with the blue screen demanding a license bought from the shop. After passing a few such vehicles, Alex halted suddenly with a realization. He opened his inventory to check, then looked at the closest car, then at his inventory.
Pal, this only says we can't drive them without a license right? Soooooooo...
And just like that, he started working on taking the car apart for [Scrap] materials.
