Just as Sami had been speaking to himself about what lay ahead, a voice would come from behind him. Not one of the many voices that had been trapped within his mindscape but another that he had yet to have heard before. Unsure of just whom or what this individual had been, Sami would spin around on his back heal and begin to call his taser forth from his inventory. As he had fully turned about, Sami would remain standing there with his taser sparking in the direction of the newcomer. It wasn't something that would actually lead to any damage to this individual unless it had come into contact with them but all in all, it was an established threat. Eyes half lidded out of weariness, Samuel would take a single step closer. "Who are you and what are you doing here?"

It honestly wasn't that big of a deal that someone had been accompanying him at the moment. It was more so that the man had snuck up on him and presumed that he was going to be joining him on his own. Such an act was entirely too suspicious. If nothing else than they should have at the very least introduced themselves. Instead they would go on to speak about how they would cut down anything that had stood in his way. A dangerous assumption for one to be making. Especially considering that Samuel was quite certain that he was among the highest on the leaderboard at the moment. For someone to make such a comment, they had to either be quite confident in their capabilities and rather decently leveled or one of those people that liked to act like a protagonist.

'Oh look Samuel. Another friend to play with. Perhaps they'll find themselves thrown into a similar position as that slime.' 'Already have enough enemies as it is. Don't you see that you'll just make more at this rate?' 'Another toy to play with~ And one that had chosen to sneak up on you. How delicious.' These were the voices that he was accustomed to hearing.. and even with that being the case, Samuel couldn't help but cast their words aside. None of what they said had any value. All that mattered right now was what the man before him was about to say or do in response. If it came down to it, Samuel could just zap him a few times with this stupidly powerful taser and leave him in the snow. Hoping that it wouldn't get to that point though, Samuel would wait to see what happens.
