the syndicate

[attr="class","syn-middle-top"]once upon a time, omsk was infested with many gangs of varying size and power. around eleven years ago, leaders from each group began to turn up dead, and the groups were assimilated into the once-feeble gang behind it all. this operation was spearheaded by one vladimir vasilev, who had been working tirelessly on manipulating those in power until they showed him their most vulnerable sides.
while an otherwise nameless organization, it became easier for locals to refer to them as the syndicate. the name stuck.
this group will eventually become a mercenary guild once vladimir has met all of the requirements. in the meantime, he is trying to reorganize the syndicate after they were scattered by the start of the tutorial and the dramatic changes to the world they once knew.
there is a ton of miscellaneous syndicate members available. if you want to make one, please just drop them here! even the miscellaneous members are expected to join the guild once it is created. new recruits are welcome too. ;)
below are the core members, the original friend group/gang that started it all (or four of them to keep things simple).
all core members should be 35-40 years old. vladimir was the last to join their hodgepodge little gang when he was 18, so everyone else has known one another for around 18-20 years, maybe a little more. while their personalities can be just about anything, they are extremely loyal to one another.
vladimir became their de facto leader because he was dirtying his hands so much for their sake because he did not want to see them kissing the boots of the older groups any longer. they might feel guilty or regretful for how much he gave up for them.
