For young Samuel Lamoze, today had been feeling as though it was just another average day. He had become relatively accustomed to the situation that he had found himself trapped in thus far. Not only had he gone on to create a guild alongside another individual but his level was rather steadily increasing. All in all, he was starting to feel as though he had it made. Was this perhaps due to his prior knowledge of how such things worked? Perhaps. It wasn't as though his knowledge of light novels and manhwa had acted as a damper in any sort of way. Of course this much couldn't be said about every body..

Whilst maneuvering throughout the streets of Los Angeles, Samuel would eventually come upon a sight that had downright horrified him.. It wasn't a monster or anything like that but instead... Well it was someone that just couldn't stop themselves from repeating the same action over and over again. Perhaps about thirty feet or so away from him, Samuel had been laying his eyes upon a wall of notifications that had no right to be as high as it had. Not only was this something that this person could have likely prevented from occurring, but it was something that they could have at least done away from prying eyes.

Honestly unsure of what to do in this situation, Samuel would begin to totter on over towards the dapper looking individual. It was only when they had stood about a foot away from them that they would begin to take note of the impish horns that had protruded from this woman's head. 'Is this perhaps a demon of sorts? Should we kill it?' 'Kill that?! More like it'll kill us... Hopefully, anyways.' 'KILL IT! KILL IT!! KILL IT!!!' Yet again these voices would voice their own opinions of what should be done.. All things that Sami simply didn't care for in this moment. No. Instead of focusing on what the voices had to say, Samuel would attempt to split his attention between the rapidly pressing finger of this individual and the horns that had dappled her head. "Oh wow. You're really something, huh?" One of the mans hands would than rise on up before attempting to poke one of the girls horns. "Gorgeous horns."

For all of a moment, Samuel's eyes would shoot wide open as this impish woman would attempt to slam her fist into his chin. The fact that she had attempted to swing upon him wasn't something that he had been all that astonished about. After all, in all the stories that he had read over the years, horns had tended to be rather sensitive for some reason. No, the reason that he was astonished simply had to do with the fact that the woman's fist had cleaved straight through his chin. As it had done so, a notification window would pop up for Samuel as well, filling him in on the fact that PVP wasn't permitted within this area. "Whoa there!"

Almost as though they had been feasting upon the drama that was now beginning to unfold, the previously disembodied voices that had been stuck within Samuel's mind would begin to laugh wildly. As this laughter would continue on, three individuals would slip from behind the devilish woman. Each of these beings had seemed to be nothing more than strange white forms with nothing more to go with them aside from a horrific smile. 'Awww look~ Little Sami's gone and made the wittle imp all mad~' 'And in doing so, brought us here.' 'Honesty, can't he ever do anything right?' In the past two years that Samuel had been hearing these voices, this had been the first time that he had actually seen the ones in which the voices had belonged to. This much might have been a bit more worrying if they had been brought into the world via Earth-Chan but for now? Well for the time being, the only person that could see and hear them was Sami.

The mans gaze now upon the three figures, as opposed to the impish woman, it would entirely possible that he had looked a bit crazy. He was clearly seeing things that weren't really there.. and yet that had only been the beginning of it. For a ghost of a moment, so brief that one might not have even noticed, the light would go out in Samuels' eyes. Instead of his usual happy go lucky self, a glint of something much darker could be seen. And just as quickly as this glint had come.. It would go out. But not before the mad lad would below out a heinous laughter. After a few moments of this, the laughter would simply cease and an oddly smiling Samuel would be left standing there. It was almost as though he wasn't even aware of what had just happened to him. "Dick?" Pointing to himself to almost confirm his words, he would continue on. "Me?" His head would then tilt off to the side. "What did I do? And uh... What's going on with your notifications?"

Trying to play the game.. While this was technically something that was likely correct to some degree, Sami couldn't help but wonder why it is that she had thought of this entire ordeal as a game. It was this kind of thinking that had led to the deaths of who knows how many thus far. Taking a moment to raise a single finger up until it had rested perfectly on his chin, Sami would continue on. "I didn't realize that I did something wrong. I'm sorry." Tilting his head off even further to the side, the androgynous man would allow for a soft yawn to escape from his lips. "I promise that I had no intention of upsetting you."

Deciding that it might be best to try and move on from the situation that they were in, Samuel would gesture towards wall of notifications. "By the way, I think that you might need to earn some more experience before leveling up. You.. Do know how to do that, right?" By no means did he mean to insinuate that she couldn't read but the fact that she kept pressing the button.. It sure was starting to feel like that. "I can help you kill some things for the experience if you need. It really isn't all that difficult if you know how to do it right." He would than open up his menu and pull a taser from the inventory. "It's pretty easy to do with something like this."

The taser didn't mean much here? It was certainly possible that this had been the truth. Of course, unbeknownst to the two of them, Samuel's taser had been capable of dealing exactly as much damage as her explosions could do at the moment. Given that there was no real point in Sami worrying too much about that though, given that he didn't want to push someone that was already unhappy with him any further, Sami would instead opt to focus on the fact that he could help in other ways. "Sure! I can do that~"

After tossing his taser back into his inventory, Sami would place his hands on his hips. "So what kinds of things do you want to learn? I mean, there are quite honestly just so many different things that I can tell you about! Were you aware of the fact that we can now understand any and every language that is spoken? It's not even like they are translated for us. We just kind of know these things now. Or! Or! Have you heard about waypoints? It's through these massive waypoints that we can traverse all throughout the world. Meaning that you wouldn't have to remain in a [Safe Zone] like this. While it might help to find yourself in a place that you can't be harmed nor killed, it also isn't very beneficial. I mean.. Really, there are barely any mobs here. Even Seoul has better mobs and most of theirs are just slime variants."

Now that the had thought about it, speaking on behalf of 'Zones' in and of themselves might be rather beneficial to the imp. Of course this was all dependent on what she had already known and had desired to learn. "If you would like, I can tell you all about 'Zones', Stats, Leveling Up, or anything really! I would personally recommend getting accustomed to your System Menu first and foremost though. Knowing not to upset the system would also help. I mean... Earth-Chan tends to bite back at times. I once received an item that actually let me use an emoji of Earth-Chan and the more that it was spammed, the more likely it was that she would just kind of slap you. Weird, right?!"

A few other possible ideas had creeped into the mans mind as he had begun to ponder over exactly what to try and teach her. "There are also the restrictions that were set upon the world and of course the things that have to do with Guilds. I've got one of those actually. Really feel like you might fit the bill for it too! Aesthetically anyways. But you'd have to wait until we got a bit bigger before I could bring you around and boost you. It's a whole thing." Trying to wave off the fact that he had been a guild leader of sorts, albeit the supposed Vice President, Sami would literally begin to wave the situation away. "Again, I really am sorry. for having upset you.. I'm Sami by the way."

As the imp would begin to list off her several questions for him, Samuel would simply nod. He had held the answers to just about everything that she had asked but had also known that this info was exceedingly easy to get if she had tried. All that it would even take was for her to access a phone or a laptop. The system had completely rewritten such things to only offer simple forms of gaming and in game information after all. It was actually thanks to this that so many people had thought of this of a game. Which it kind of was? A game of death that is..

Registering the fact that she had yet to even name herself, Samuel would simply sigh. He had been doing what he could to assist this girl but she was quite obviously going to give him a rather hard time one way or another. Perhaps that was why she had transformed into some kind of devil? If that were to be the case than what the hell was going on with Pori at the time of her transformation? "Eh.. You really won't get too many answers like that, you know. People tend to respond in kind with the attitude that you opt to display to them." Taking a moment to spin about on his heel so that he would slide behind her, the young man would allow for yet another to escape his lips. "I'd be more inclined to give you answers if you stopped demanding things~ Buuuuut I suppose that I am willing to help you out anyways. We'll just call it even for touching your horns!"

Pulling himself away from the impish girl for a moment, Samuel would begin to offer her a bright smile. "A new start to so say..!! But yeah~ The answers to your questions are quite simple really. I mean, you can get food from any of the places that you could before. There may be monsters out and about, and not too many people actually actively choosing to still work, but the food still remains within all the stores where it last was. Unless it's all been looted. In that case you can port on over to The Hub and attend one of the various restaurants that are available. There is a huge variety of options within so I am sure that you can find something that you like before Earth-Chan decides to boot you. Much like the answer to your food question, just try and find a [Safe Zone] like the one we are in now and you can sleep anywhere! Ooooor you can crash for the night at one of the many hotels in The Hub. Maybe even join a Guild and crash at their guild hall."

Moving onto the matter of leveling up and upgrading skills, the smile that had been plastered upon Sami's face would begin to grow. "As for leveling up and upgrading your skills? Well your skills should simply tell you at what rank they'll upgrade themselves. That's usually based off of how many points you throw into a stat, if I am not mistaken. And the best places to level up quicker? Well~ Those would be [High Risk] areas! Double the danger and thus, double the rewards..!! If you decide to head on out to one of them though, I would recommend not only leveling up a bit first but heading out with a party of at least four. Preferably six. You reaaaally want to milk the party synergy function. Especially if you don't want to die while you are out there."

That smile from before would now completely cease to exist for a moment as the man would speak in a rather ominous tone. "Because you can die in [High Risk] areas. And well... If you die here, your dead for good. There is no coming back as far as I am aware. Gone from this world forever." He would then begin to mimic an explosion with his hands whilst making the sound of thrown confetti. "I suppose that that is the closest thing to 'getting out of here' that there is at this moment."

Realizing that he had almost completely left out the answer in regards to new threads and some cool gear, the man would simply begin to shrug. "As for clothes? I'm sure that you can steal some from a shop or purchase some out here in the Safe Zones. All kinds of crazy merchants to be found within The Hub but uh.. From what I hear, the best place to go for new gear would probably be Unison Central. Or as it is formerly known.. Switzerland. All kinds of merchants and warehouses out there from what I've heard in The Hub. Earth-Chan has even gone as far as to place all kinds of high-level guards out there supposedly. No trouble makers allowed out there."

So that was it? She was ready to just end things here? Granted, she had gotten her information, but was that really reason enough to just depart? Even now, Samuel had still not received her name.. and quite honestly, that much had bothered him. To a degree anyways. On one hand, Sami could completely understand where it was that this girl was coming from. Giving out information about yourself was quite frankly not the best idea. On the other though.. He had just helped her without any real gain to himself. That slight irking sensation continuing to bother him, Sami would decide to walk alongside her until he had managed to get an answer from her.

Following alongside the imp, Sami would be sure to keep a bit of a bounce in his step. He might have seemed to be a bit ridiculous, and quite frankly he was, but he wasn't always as annoying as some might consider. It really just depended on the person and the interactions that they would have with one another. "Sooo what's your name exactly? I mean, I've gone allll the way out of my way to try and help you out. Might as well give you ol' buddy an introduction, right?" A single corner of his lips drawing up into a smile of sorts whilst the other had remained relatively unhappy, Sami would continue on. "If need be, we can try to work together to get those abilities and levels of yours up. I'm already out here and don't really think that I'll be spending too much time in Los Angeles, anyways. Best to try and help now while I can, right?"
