Slamming through the door with her good arm with a loud plop, she was in the building. 3 thuds revealed the attack by the slime party behind her. Lucky for her, the windows were study enough to delay the slimes... at least a little. Charging forward she ran down the aisle. After about a minute, the girl came across some barrels. Opening one, she turned around only to see a slime preparing to lunge at her. The girl rotated the barrel and when the slime jumped, it landed in the barrel which she immediately closed. Another plop signal the arrival of a new slime. The girl placed her hand on the lid ready to open it. Then when the slime attacked her, she opened the lid and caught the slime. There was one more left and the barrel she had was bouncing around with the two slime in it. So grabbing a new barrel, she ready herself in position. Looking around, she saw it climbing on the ceiling. It suddenly dropped down and Pori pushed the barrel to catch the slime. With the lid sealed on top, she did it. All of the slimes were trapped. Also, as long as you did not kill the tiny slimes, more wouldn't spawn... at least from what she had witness. [break][break]

Leaving the store, a gentle breeze woken up the pain receptors on her injured arm. She grimaced while trying to find a place to grab. The safest place was the part of her shoulder that still had undissolved fabric from her yellow coat. It stung a lot but well, at least she still had an arm. Though... now she needed a new coat.

Due to your brazen behavior, the slimes have understood that they have no hope to defeat you two. Because of this, they have opted to pull themselves together. Over a dozen slimes begin to pool together inside the store. They start to emerge from the pipes that run throughout the building. The sprinkler systems that have long been shut off seem to rain a green ooze. The liquid will gather up near the front of the store and slowly grow in size. Before long, it will take on a more slender humanoid form. SLIME PREDATOR

Letting out a guttural screech, the beast would cause tendrils to rip from its body and smash into the isles around it. The slime would also smack the container that the human had encased its ally in. Once freed, that slime would quickly assemble into the main body. Another screech was let out. The creature's vision narrowed to a small figure that was outside the shop. Once its prey was selected the slime let out a roar. The creature started to run in a bipedal  manner towards the woman, smashing through the glass that was before it, aiming to fully encase her in its gelatinous body.

Valentine made his way out of the store, everything had been placed in his inventory now, and everything was going fine, now as he found himself astral projecting searching for Pori, and thankfully he did. He was happy to see her, though she couldn't see his astral body nor hear him Valentine still let the words "hang on, Pori, I'm coming," [break][break]

Though, just as he was about to let his body fly back into his physical his eyes went wide at the sight of over a dozen slimes merging into something, when it was over and done Valentine stepped back instinctively, though he quickly remembered that what he was seeing couldn't hurt him. At least he hoped not.[break][break]

It began taking the form of something strange, some creature humanoid with tentacles. Pori was in danger, they both were but her more so being closer to the creature, Valentine wouldn't stand by why she was getting attacked. He let his astral body get snatched back into his physical like a yo-yo being pulled back. His head raised and his eyes fluttered open, he grabbed his syringe spear and quickly made way toward Pori's destination, deciding to go the long way around cutting through an alleyway in an effort to appear on the side of the creature and Pori. [break][break]

Valentine found himself coming out by the side of the building the glass was broken toward the front from what he could see. He could see Pori fighting in front of the creature, whip-like tendrils lashing out, he could hear its roar, the crack of Pori's whip as she tried to fight it off. [break][break]

He charged forward, he had half a mind to scream as he did, but this wasn't a movie. Doing such a thing would be silly, and would most likely get him killed. Valentine rushed forward, thankful that his scouting ability was so proficient, as it allowed him to find the most optimal path toward her. [break][break]

He continued to rush at the creature, hefting his syringe spear as he did, staying in what he presumed was the creature's blindness, Valentine dodged the flailing tendrils that weren't focused on him, nearly avoiding them. His hit rang true as he stabbed into the creature's back with his syringe. Though as he did the creature hissed and roared, the tendril closest to him lashed out, grabbing a hold of his arm. [break][break]

Valentine injected the liquid of his spear into the creature, and in doing so one of the slimes that composed its form seemed to fall from it, sizzling to the ground, the creature's head turned around 180 degrees, and it let out a hiss as another tendril lashed out smacking across Valentine's face. It begin to turn purple nearly immediately and his vision went blurry, but the grip on his spear only tightened as he tried to plunge it deeper. "Fuck, fuck you!" He yelled at the creature, unsure if it could even understand him, and as he did he found himself wincing from the pain in his face, and the bruising around his trapped arm beginning to form. Valentine struggled within the slime's grasp, he felt the air caught in his lungs bulge against the tightened area of his throat as the creature began to slink one of its tentacles around his neck. Thankfully his attack had landed. Thus Valentine had let the green liquid flow into the creature, Valentine could feel the creature's tentacle tighten around his arm and neck more, if things stayed as it was it would only be mere minutes before he died. He couldn't let that happen he still had his sister to find, after all, thus Valentine used all his willpower to activate his skill, desperately fighting to think through the haze of the pain he felt and the headache he had from getting smacked in the skull by the tentacles. [break][break]

Ability Activating... Cross Over, he heard the sound of his skill activating like music in his ears, and then he felt his body fall to the ground. Doubling over onto his knees, after his feet hit the ground now covered in an overly of 1's and 0's Valentine could see he was in the digital world, as he liked to call it. Catching his breath and taking a moment to steady himself Valentine glanced around, the creature nor Pori was nowhere to be seen as he suspected. Taking a moment to collect himself, Valentine moved toward where the left of where the creature could possibly be. [break][break]

Doing such was always a gamble, so he mentally readied himself and then deactivated his skill, popping back into the physical world in a flurry of rainbow-colored pixels, Valentine lunged forward his spear intent on stabbing the creature in its torso, it worked, and as he did he injected the green liquid into the creature's chest before rolling out of the way of whipping tentacles. He wasn't going to let the thing catch him a second time if he could help it. "Die, motherfucker!" He said as he moved away. [break][break]

Granted such things were easier said than done, for as the black slimy creature had green neon liquid clearly coursing through its semi-liquid form it also seemed pissed, and... Afraid? Valentine had after all debuffed his vitality to shit.[break][break]

Noticing that the creature was angry, Valentine reared his spear back and launched it once more, this time he speared into the creatures torso, before running up, grabbing the spear and ramming his body into he creature with all his might. The creature welled and screamed, striking out at Valentine with its tendrils, they struck, hitting him the side. He heard a crack and felt his body go tumbling to the side, the damage only lessened thanks to Pori occupying the creatures attention and them being able to knock it off balance. [break][break]

Valentine rolled as he fell, the act more instinctual rather than intentional thanks to all the fall training he did with his father when he was young. One of the most common things all martial arts taught was how to fall properly, and Jeet Kun Do was no different. He started forward again, this time grabbing on to his spear, pushing it further into the black oose that had become... Solid, now that it had mixed with his items poison. Perhaps it was like an coagulant of sorts, like snake venom almost. Valentine smiled, stabbing into the hardened pieces of the monster, it screamed, welled and lashed out at the two of them more trying to stretch its body out and wrap itself around Valentine in one last ditch effort, but Valentine stabbed ferishouly until finally the black creature lost form, falling over him like a black goo like shell, he grabbed the now black fleshy remains of the creature and tossed it into his inventory, he liked the feel of it, it was like a well used suit. But such thoughts could only be entertained for a second, for after he found himself get dizzy from the pain, and subsequently pass out.[break][break]

He felt his body getting carried after that, the musing and feeling of slime and awoke in the hideout Pori had made for himself. He found naught but a simple not stating that she had gone on an adventure, to leave snacks as repayment, and to leave as soon as he was able. Thus Valentine did just that, left the drinks and snacks she had enjoyed with him the day prior, winced at the wounds he had an endured, and trudged his way back to the waygate, stopping to the occasional break to rest his battered body, and to scout out the area for safety via astral projection. It only took about an hour of slowly moving through the roving slimes, but Valentine was soon home free. He checked his inventory to see if he had gained anything new, and made a mention to check back in on and destroy that weird slime that had eaten the guitar wielding boy, and to see how Pori was doing from time to time. He wondered what the young girl was up too, he was sure that once he got ahold of his sister again, Pori would probably be a fun friend for her to have. The thought of which made him smile as he look toward a new day, and adventure. [break][break]
