Mr. Beast scooped Ragline into his arms and leapt onto the [Tough Love]’d back of The Rox. As they took to the air, he waved bye to the Naga and slammed his hand down on the accept button for the special quest. In an instant he was teleported from the Utopian Outpost to the central town on Ender Island. The town was in flames.

Both heads of The Rox coo’d in alarm, and Ragline looked up expectantly to Mr. Beast. They were just starting to make progress towards reclaiming the island and helping the monster races, how could someone do something like this?! He could see some sort of barrier formed around the forge, as well as other players appearing across town. As someone with forge access of his own, he immediately b-lined for the forge to see what was going on.

Before they could fly any further, however, a dove flew by. It was injured and flapped its wings out of sync before falling to the ground between buildings. Both heads of The Rox looked toward Mr. Beast. ”Yes, let’s.” The Rox landed in the alley and Mr. Beast hopped off with Ragline. The man picked up the dove and gently placed it into a hole that The Rox hastily dug into the ground with their talons. His hand lingered on the dirt for a moment after covering it. ”In another life.”

From the street nearby, Mr. Beast heard the voice of a mercenary he recognized. He stepped out with both pets at his side, and saw others here as well, including Kurai! It took only a moment to notice the “knight” they were speaking too, one who mocked the deaths of those in this town.

He tightened his guild bandana on his forehead and hopped back onto The Rox, who took to the air above the knight with a massive gust from the beat of their wings. Ragline stayed grounded, moving into position with his little [Gemineye] dangling from his neck. Mr. Beast invited those here to a party, and used his special synergy skill to add Ragline as well. With everyone here, they had a [Full House]!

”If you mean that, stand down! We can still save others!”

Alarm sirens rang off as everyone's phone went off at once. Out of all the places to be attacked, Seika would have always assumed Unison Central would be the first area wiped out with extreme prejudice by some evil or corrupt entity. Typically that's what happened to places that acted as a central hub area for people in these types of stories. You were either the evil tyrant, ready to crush any hopes of a brighter future, or you were the hopeless peasant being subjugated by somebody you would never meet, and maybe every so often, the boot stepping on you changed color. [break][break]

”An attack on the forge is most unexpected. Is this part of a larger plot to push for assaults in other areas, or just an easy target for them?” Seika asked aloud, standing in Unison Central with her hand holding the phone as she scowled in thought. There weren't a whole lot of answers to anybody given questions, as per usual, but a select few were going into the fray in defense of the Forge. ”Even if so, we cannot allow the Forge to fall into enemy hands or descome destroyed.” Not one to stand aside and let others take the glory, Seika slid her finger upwards to approve the call to action and accepted the included transportation to the mission area.[break][break]

Seika arrived in a flash, carrying herself to the stoic disposition of a samurai, her eyes showing her through the carnage shown. The town plaza was being attacked by some strange giant boulder, crashing through buildings as the samurai kept her eyes narrowed on the enemy. There was no mistaking it. This was her quarry. ”Are you the one responsible for all of this?” She asked, a hand on the hilt of her blade, ready to bring it towards at a moment's notice. The samurai kept her eyes honed in on the tall man, readying herself for a possible fight. ”The aimless slaughter of others solely for XP is truly despicable. We will put you down like the dog you are.” Seika looked back at the people around the area, ready to defend the town as she was. ”Steel yourself, the true battle awaits.” [break][break]

[attr="class","junobody]Juno had taken to practicing skating around random, formerly residential areas. He was working out how to turn what were previously just flashy tricks into deadly maneuvers, twisting and turning to kick out with more and more force. Launching off things was much more effective at giving him airtime than just jumping off the ground, he quickly found. It was difficult, forcing himself to think like a warrior instead of just some kid on skates. But he was working toward it, little by little.[break][break]

They took a break, sipping from their water bottle when a message from the system popped up. Juno again wondered if the system screens were customized for everyone, or if he was just weird. They took in the almost graffiti like writing and the neon accents around the edges of the screens. The mission was to protect Ender Island, would even teleport Juno there for free and offer sick rewards. They thought for a moment, even though they were pretty sure they’d already decided to go. “It’ll be good practice too.” Juno didn’t know why they were trying to justify it when their hand was already rising to click the [Y] button.[break][break]

A bright light surrounded him and all of a sudden he was in a town square, standing among countless broken bodies all around him and what he assumed were others that accepted the mission. There was also a shirtless man, who Juno noted was absolutely shredded. Interest in that fact rose and fell as soon as Juno also noted he was covered in blood, and probably the source of the carnage “Behemoth?” They pouted softly “The cute ones are always unhinged sadists…” Just then, Juno heard a familiar voice, prompting them to perk up and look around.[break][break]

They skated over as soon as they caught sight of their prim and proper friend with the haunting blue eyes “Lady Seiko! The dream team reassembles, huh?”
