Ever since he was a kid, Linley had felt a great connection to the world of acting and even though he ended up choosing to go more into politics, he always appreciated anyone who had great ability in how they carried themselves and acted on the outside in contrast to what they might feel deep down. Acting, TV, books and comics, but also games, there were many different ways to experience the facets of humanity and complex interlocked workings with every character and personality. [break][break]
The biggest interests were the villains that fought with their brain, but also the mysterious characters whose goals remained hidden, one moment they would help the main character and in the next this person would reveal to have a big ulterior motive they wanted to fulfill, or maybe they would never stand in the spot light, but always found a way to make things go their way, guiding the story along as they please. Control, deceit, manipulation, back-stabbing but most importantly unpredictability are what these so called masterminds excelled at to reach their personal goals. No matter if they are surrounded by many people or just a few, they end up being solitary figures. [break][break]
Leylin, as he calls himself, always wanted to be such a figure, having others dance to his tune and reaping the benefits from it. He's always been like this and now, with the arrival of 'the light' he plans to truly let loose.

Once a Command is in place it must stay active for at least three posts before it can be swapped to a different Command and each of them have an initial activation effect and then an ongoing power that stays for as long as the Command is in place. Additionally each Command will have a basic attack attached to it that can be utilised while the Command is in place. [break][break]
The Hardline Politico has access to these Commands currently: [break][break]
Frontline Extremist: Speaking the words for martial jurisdiction, the Politico generates an aura around them equal to their [DEF] /2 meters in radius that follows them. When activated, all enemies in the area of effect become [Immobilized] for one post if their [PWR] is equal to or lower than the Politico's [MAGI]. Additionally, while active, allies in the area gain [Police State] while the Politico gains [Political Commander]. [break][break]
The [Police State] status causes the ally's damage to increase by +5% every post as long as they don't take damage, with the bonus resetting if they do. The [Political Commander] status causes the Politico to inflict [Taunt] on any enemy hit if the target's [WIL] is lower than the Politico's [MAGI], for two posts, and causes their [DEF] to count as one rank higher against any enemy inflicted with [Taunt]. While this is active the Politico can deal their [MAGI] rank in melee damage to one target once per post. [break][break]
Supporting Moderate: Speaking the words for peace in our time, the Politico gains the ability to designate two areas that have a diameter equal to the Politico's [MAGI] /5 in meters. The first area gains the [Harmful Protest] effect while the second gains the [Peaceful Protest] effect. When activated, the Politico also heals for 25% of their [VIT] and can choose another ally to heal for 25% of their [VIT] as well. [break][break]
The [Harmful Protest] effect causes anyone in that area to count their [WIL] as -1 rank lower for resisting status effects. The [Peaceful Protest] effect causes anyone in that area to heal for 10% of their VIT each post, and any attacks from outside the area have their damage reduced by -20%. While this is active, once per post the Politico can deal ranged damage equal to their [DEF] -1 rank to one target within a range equal to their [DEF] /4 in meters. [break][break]
You gain a new Command upon reaching A rank in a stat, and upgrade a Command upon reaching S+ rank in a stat.

Whenever the Hardline Politico activates a Command, they may choose one stat to gain a +10% bonus, which lasts until the end of the thread. Each time a Command is activated they may choose the same stat or a different one, though any stat may only have a maximum +20% bonus. The Hardline Politico is the final word in martial law and their words can change the very flow of a battlefield. By imposing their views onto the world itself they can manipulate just how the fight is going. This politician leads from the front, and won't let anyone else take a blow for them. Whenever an ally would suffer an attack, the Hardline Politico can choose to redirect the attack to themselves, absorbing the damage as if their [DEF] was +1 rank higher than normal. If this attack still breaks the Politico's [DEF], immediately afterwards they heal for 20% of the damage dealt to them.
