Before she had the chance to investigate further, a sudden storm of pixels popped up between the two women. "Wh-"A tiger leapt out of the cloud, one with white and blue stripes, and vicious teeth. Just based on looks alone it seemed like it’d be a tough fight, and clearly that's what it was here to do. Argent leapt back and drew her black lance as the monster ROARED, bellowing a sound out that rivaled Izanami’s from earlier. Immediately, it darted her way. The tiger was fast enough to look like a blur as it moved, and the woman only had enough time to shoot her lance at the roof and tug herself away from its attack to mostly come out okay. It did nick her arm and slice through a bit of her jacket, where the chilling cold instantly started biting at her skin. ”SHIT! THIS ONE’S GONNA BE TOUGH NAMI!” Argent dangled from her lance in the icy stone on the roof of the cavern, holding an arm out to the side where she drew her Lunar Knife. ”Run if I tell you, but for now–” Her hand wrapped around the dagger, using it for some extra leverage as she twisted her body to pull the lance out of the roof and land back on the ground. ”--LET’S KICK ITS ASS!”.... "HEY WHAT THE HELL?!"Looking around for the armored girl, she was nowhere to be found. It was now just Argent, and a dangerous monster. What could possibly go wrong?! Even as it stood, Argent couldn't make out the form of the Tiger very well. It was almost like how she imagined enemies seeing HERSELF while her [partial invisibility] buff was active... This monster seemed like it might've been guarding whatever lay behind that door, and there was no doubt that it was strong- likely stronger than both the girls. But did that mean that Argent was gonna just sit back and take it? HELL NO! {STATS ETC}PARTY SYNERGIES: [Stealth Up!]

Andy shivered as he trudged through the ice and snow with Dee Dee at his side. If the snow were much higher she'd likely be unable to move around. Hell as it was he was having a time of it making his way through the landscape even with snowshoes on. What does one expect from Everest though? [break][break] If not for everything that's happened he wouldn't have even considered going to Everest before, but here he was trying to hunt down... something. Andy wasn't even sure what he was hoping to find up here. Goats? Snow leopards? A yeti perhaps? Whatever it was he hoped they found it soon so they could get out of here. [break][break] Just as he was about to quit Andy heard a roar nearby. “Did you hear that?” After a few moments of listening for an avalanche he moved as quickly as he could toward the source of the noise. Upon reaching his destination he heard a familiar voice yelling from inside. “Damn. Sounds like Argent's in trouble. We better move fast.”[break][break] Andy made it to Argent quickly thankfully. He could see her just fine, but what was that thing she was fighting? It was hiding its form somehow and he couldn't make out its shape. If this thing made that roar it was likely some sort of animal. Which means that he could eat it once they kill it. First, he had to figure out what was happening. If he went in guns blazing he was likely to get filled with holes like the last time he partnered up with the assassin. “Argent what is going on?!” |

Dee Dee had been lucky, the snow was well packed here and she only needed to deal with the top most layer, this of course meant she was still walking through some snow, but not as much as Andy was, which was handy, though it did mean she had to work a bit to get through, to shelter them from the cold she didn't have any of her summons out for the time being, the trek so far had been cold and tough but it was doable with their supplies and the fact that Dee Dee had a fully usable food cart in her inventory so getting things to warm up and eat was easy enough, she also had tarps and the like for making a wind screen to take a break out of the blowing wind

Andy had asked her along to help him look for new creatures and Dee Dee didn't have an issue with that plan, exploring was always a good thing to do after all and gave a chance for more things to add to her Beginners guide for later, there was few tasks to this place so far anyway but it would be good to consider expanding the research for this place later after all information and maps could be life savers in an area as desolate and hostile as this place was.

As they trudged through the snow though Dee Dee heard a roar like sound and much like Andy she looked around the upper slopes nearest them first to see if it was an avalanche but it wasn't then she looked around a bit more, and as Andy moved on Dee Dee followed, it was a sound that wasn't good but at the same time they were here to find things that could be food, and for finding things to add to her guidebook after all. But then she heard a voice she knew and Andy mentioned Argent's Name and he picked up the pace, Dee Dee nodded in agreement and headed after him.

As they got into the cave Dee Dee looked around a bit but spotted Argent about the same time Andy did and as he rushed to help her Dee Dee noticed something was moving around but she couldn't make it out, the best thing to do though was to get more eyes on the area and so she summoned her friends, she would have to be careful though and so she made sure Both Kramer and BombDee were equipped with items, and that Jimmy was safely in her coat with her so she could protect him. BombDee had on the Combat Familiars armor, and Kramer had on the Ruby collar, they would be fairly sturdy for now. Dee Dee herself took out her whack'em mallet, and her shield for the fight as it was rather clear that was what was going on... but against WHAT?

As she was about to face off against her icey foe, Argent heard another voice. This one was different from Izanami’s, and drew the attention of the tiger. Turning to look, Argent saw- ”ANDY?!” He wasn’t alone either; Dee Dee, a [Summoner] that Argent met before, was with him. Her three summons looked ready for a fight. The hairs on Argent’s neck rose as she suddenly realized that her enemy had a new target. The Tiger darted for Andy, and Argent did the same. She activated her [Dash] skill to dart in front of the man, brandishing her Lance to try and counter-strike the monster. Her [Hotspur of The Moment] skill activated as she attempted to outspeed the Tiger to avoid taking damage, but even then, it was quick enough to bite at her weapon and deal some damage. Argent groaned as a debuff affected her; a 30% Debuff due to the Tiger’s [Frost Bite]. Thankfully, her passive being active meant it wasn’t too debilitating of an effect, and if anything, it only made her mad. She took a deep breath, activating her [Deep Breather] skill to heal herself a bit and center herself as Argent flicked her Lance aside. It stuck into the snow, and in its place, a katana materialized in Argent’s hand. ”I DON’T KNOW WHAT THE HELL YOU GUYS ARE DOING HERE BUT LET’S KICK ITS ASS!” With both Argent and the Tiger shrouded in partial invisibility, they looked like a flickering light as she dashed toward the monster to slash it along its body. She couldn’t see it exactly, but based on the ice mist, she knew its general location. If that wasn’t enough, she’d make it enough! ”RAHHH!” X-Caliber glowed in a white light as she activated its innate PWR buff, but the hue shifted to pink as her pupils turned to hearts and her [Mother’s Love] activated. Argent wasn’t done yet, because she wanted this thing dead. ”WE GOIN’ NOVA!” The glowing light around the sword suddenly grew to double, then triple its length as it was imbued with the power of lasers. ”RELENTLESS SLASH!”Argent’s giant laser-katana sliced diagonally at the mist cloud one way, then the other, slashing an X through the haze. She could hear the Tiger’s groan from inside it, and honestly? GOOD HE DESERVED IT THAT ASS! It didn’t go down, but her heart-shaped eyes burned daggers into its fur through its shroud– now that her allies were here, it wouldn’t live another minute! {STATS ETC}PARTY SYNERGIES: [Stealth Up!]

It would seem this time it was Argent who was poked full of holes as she dove in front of an attack meant for him. Compared to the beast he was far too slow to dodge the attack. Whatever it was was much stronger than him and if he wasn't careful he could die here. [break][break] Argent was right they needed to kick this thing's ass before anything bad happened. Andy wasn't prepared to fight something he couldn't see properly though. Who was? Not that that was stopping her at all. Argent was just as strong as he remembered, if not more so. [break][break] “I'll do what I can! Get ready to run if this all goes to shit!” There weren't many options available to Andy. Either he could run up and try to stab it through the mist, which wasn't likely, or he threw a bomb and risked damaging the cave. He hadn't used the bombs before, but now was as good a time as any. He wished he had more ranged options available right about now. [break][break] Andy took one of the eggs out of his inventory and threw it at the beast after Argent was done with her assault. With most of its attention focused on her it landed its mark. Or at least he believed it did. It hit the center of the area covered with the mist and another roar erupted from the beast. It wasn't as much damage as what the woman had done, but at least it was something. Now he just had to hope that he didn't bring the cave down on them with the others. |

Dee Dee looked on at what was going on, something was obscuring itself in some manner, likely an ability and Argent seemed to be trying to out speed it but it was clearly going far to fast, She did manage to stop Andy from being attacked though and she seemed to have an Idea where the thing was, Well that meant that she just needed to aim for that area right? She thought to herself as took out a few items.

one important item was her riding crop, It wouldn't be to much of a help to her, but it could help Argent and so Dee Dee pointed the crop at Argent and it would give her speed boost of +30%, hopefully that would be handy, she also activated her healing aura on Argent to heal the wounds she already suffered, granted it would take a bit for the healing to do much but it was better then nothing so far.

She looked over to the area the Enemy should be in and seen the attacks from her two allies land, they seemed to have done a good job so Dee Dee decided to try her luck as well, She pointed and both Kramer and BombDee moved in as her and all her summons started to glow as she activated syncrofight, she didn't have flashy abilities like Argent, but she had her own means of dealing with things and with Kramer flying over head and BombDee moving to a flank the three of them sharing their senses could Triangulate the location of the enemy even though it's ability, at least enough to put hurt in a more specific place, it was still hard to see but having a slightly better Idea of where to aim was always helpful. And so Dee Dee Pitched a Energy orb from her hand at the target drawing its attention before suddenly glowing read and rushing in to smash her hammer on the enemy..or at least try to, her first attack missed, but the second managed to catch a bit of it but it certainly drew it's attention as Dee Dee backed away shield raised.

Just as it moved slightly towards Dee Dee however, Kramer flew over the area and hit it with a gout of flames, bathing the whole area the Tiger should be in, in flames leaving it no chance to escape as the flames came down in a cone on the area it was standing in, and drawing it's attention upward where it leaped up took a swipe at Kramer catching the dragon on the edge of its wing, but thankfully not taking it to the ground and he managed to fly up and away the collar doing it's work to heal him slowly.

BombDee then used that opening while the enemy was in mid air to rush forward and plant a landmine where it would need to land and then he raced out again to reestablish their Triangulation of the enemy, and just as he got out of range the landmine blew up dealing quite the blow to the enemy at elast from the sounds of the infuriated Growl coming from it's location, clearly the landmine hurt, then again BombDee's stats took it into the C rank range and the Landmine took that into just barely B rank so it HAD to have hurt.

At this point it was clear the enemy had no clue what to target what with two new combatants having appeared, five more total counting Dee Dee's summons, but it clearly decided to aim for the slowest of the group that happened to be near it, and so it took a swing and BombDee sending the Waddle-dee flying backwards, but he managed to roll and get back up and rather then stay away he charged right back in again which caught the Large enemy off guard a bit.

The tiger leapt back, finally dispelling the icey haze to reveal its blue and white body once more. This was the first time Andy and Dee Dee got to see the monster for what it truly was, but even they would be able to tell how beat it was. Bloody and bruised, it backed itself up against the secret door, growling at its enemies.
"Nuuh, don't even try it! You're the one that attacked us!" Argent nodded to Dee Dee in thanks for her heal and extra SPD buff, and Argent activated another [Deep Breaths] to bring herself back to full. She held her katana to the side, letting it vanish back into her inventory as she picked up her lance once more.
"Ready?" She asked the tiger, who roared in response. Mounting her Lance forward, she activated [Dash] to charge the beast as it did the same. Argent was faster, and with the Lance's DEF ignoring ability, her [Full Moon] bonus, and an ability activation, the monster fell to the ground. "CRESCENT SLASH!" The lance twisted upward in an arc of blue energy, an attack that spelt the end of the tiger.
She flicked her Lance to the side to clean it off before slamming it into the ground as a crutch to lean on. "Phew, that thing came outta nowhere. What the hell are you guys doing here though? Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the help.. but this is kinda the middle of nowhere, yknow?"

Finally, the haze around the beast dissipated and Andy could see what it was. Before them was an enormous tiger. It may not have been exactly what he was looking for, but it was a great discovery nonetheless. It looked badly beaten now that he could get a good look at it. Was Argent fighting it for a while before they got there? Or maybe the two girls were stronger than he thought. [break][break] Regardless, between the combined attacks of Argent and Dee Dee, the tiger fell quickly after appeared. He was glad that the danger had passed and he could put away his bombs. If he was unlucky one of them could bring the cave down on them or block the entrance with an avalanche. Both are things that nobody would want. “I came out here to hunt. I wanted some rare [Ingredients] so Dee Dee and I came here. Looks like we stumbled upon you just in time.”[break][break] Andy chuckled and looked over the body of the tiger. “Speaking of... If you'll excuse me for a moment.” While walking over toward the tiger he summoned a large butcher's knife in his hand. After examining the body for some time he began to make large cuts around its neck to take off its head. “Anyone else want a piece of this?”[break][break] He didn't stop to wait for a response before continuing his cuts. This time Andy made a few around certain areas before grabbing at the skin and tearing it away from the meat. Once it was skinned he began the work he came here for. Getting meat. Dee Dee was glad to see the creature attacking Argent was defeated, that was good to know, she was so glad she Kramer and his AoE flames, a proper angle meant it didn't matter if the enemy was hard to see, you fill it's general area with enough flames or attacks and your bound to hit something, and Argent finishing it off meant they also helped their friend! she was glad that they seemed no worse for wear, Though BombDee and Kramer where injured, with the fight over the two went over to Dee Dee and she gently pets them, taking out her Tomato Tomato and making it duplicate into three, giving one to Kramer and one to BombDee who happily ate the offered treat, which also quickly healed them up to full. Looking over to Argent Dee Dee was about to explain opening a message window, but Andy explained first, and Dee Dee nodded rapidly Dee Dee had been asked for help and well she wasn't about to say no, Survival training was handy after all even for just short trips, also with her around she had all the supplies to make an emergency camp if needed so that wasn't going to be an issue, she also always had extra help with her so in the end it didn't surprise her that Andy asked her for help, well allthat and when she helped him out at the festival she did say she didn't mind helping him if he needed help again. Looking over to Andy she sent him a message that read "Ohhh can you get me some too? meat is meat after all and I know Kramer and Jimmy love meat... BombDee to now I think of it.. and I like meat.. so if you could spare some from it that would be great!" she gave a thumbs up to him, she had no issue eating the creature, she wasn't even squeamish about seeing Andy do his work on it, after all she knew how to do the same thing.. well she wasn't as good at it as Andy was but that was the difference between someone with enough training to be competent like Dee Dee, and someone that specialized in it like Andy. It gave Dee Dee a warm fuzzy feeling inside to know she was up holding the standards of the Waddle-dee even now, and she stood there looking very content with herself before looking over to Argent and sending her a message as well "why are you out here all alone anyway?" she asked looking a little concerned. ”Really, all the way out here, you do you I guess- though I can’t really talk much, I’m also here for loot heheheh” Argent couldn’t really complain that they were in such a dangerous place when she herself was LITERALLY ALSO HERE. Dee Dee was strong and had a lot of fire attacks, so she could rationalize the trip in her head. Andy had to get his meat from somewhere, but… ”Ew, you don’t gotta play with it like that! Get back to me once you cook the damn thing!”When Dee Dee asked about Argent’s being here, the woman searched around the room again. ”Well, I wasn't alone, originally. There was another lady here, and we were gonna take advantage of the [High Risk] Zone to grind some.” Argent sighed and shook her head. ”Seems like she dipped though. For the best, honestly- She’s as batshit as Andy coming up here at level one!” She laughed to herself. Wherever Izanami had run off too, Argent was sure the woman was okay- for now, at least. They were just in a party together, and hadn’t gotten any alerts of her sudden demise. Argent flexed her muscles, and returned to the weird, big door that appeared after defeating the yetis. Was the Tiger suddenly showing up related to it? She REALLLY wanted to bust inside and see just what it was she had stumbled across, but… she had already used up too many of her resources just getting here. ”This door is pretty wicked, but I have to rest more before I can explore it. “Well what better place to find rare meats than somewhere that most people haven't even been to?” Andy hadn't taken his attention off butchering the tiger until Argent mentioned playing with the cadaver. His eyes flashed with a dark red light for a brief moment as a smirk spread across his face. He took the tiger's head and shoved his arm up through its throat like a puppet. “YoU dOn'T gOtTa PlAy WiTh It LiKe ThAt.” As he spoke in a somewhat mocking tone he opened and closed his hand to make the tiger's mouth move as well. [break][break] Andy laughed as he placed the head back on the ground before returning to slicing off portions of meat. “I'll cook you up something nice when we meet up again. With this [Ingredient] I should be able to make my first official meal with the system.” When he finished up he packaged up a few cuts for Dee Dee in a cooler he kept in his inventory for such occasions. “As you said, meat is meat and I've got plenty. I hope you like it. And the little ones too.”[break][break] Andy took the skin of the tiger and wrapped it around his neck multiple times like an enormous scarf. Once all the pieces of the beast were safely stored he handed Dee Dee the cooler with her cuts. “Sounds like I wasn't the only one that had the idea of having someone stronger help them out. Hope she's fine out there on her own.”[break][break] With the tiger taking up most of his attention Andy hadn't noticed the door in the room. Upon looking it over he also became curious about what was behind it. “Yeah if the tiger was out here I can only imagine what's waiting for us in there. It'd probably be best to come back another day. It'll still be here when we come back. Hopefully with a few more levels under our belt.” If they could find the area again that is. Dee Dee nodded as Andy added his explanation, and she looked around the cave as the two talked, and it sounded like the person that came with Argent might have fled or something else happed? Ether way it was likely they were safe, they might have used a escape rope? that was likely as they came here rather quickly when they heard the fight going and there didn't seem to be any leaving marks so Dee Dee returned to hear the mention about the door and she looked up at the large gate then to the other two there just in time to be handed a Cooler of meat and she gave a thumbs up and popped the meat into her inventory for safekeeping and she then looked to the two of them and they made a good point about coming back later. Dee Dee nodded and wrote a message to the two of them "Yeah coming back with a few extra levels on us would be a good Idea and I don't mind coming back out with you next time, we could have a lot of supplies for a second outing I know I can prep some good supplies ready for the work needed and put something together to help up get there with no issue but takes some time is all" she nodded. And she looked back to the gate and then took out a map she had been making when walking with Andy and she made notes on it, and marking the area so they could get here easier next time then she typed up another message and sent it to the two of them "I marked the place on my map, I can send you guys copies later if you want, but with this it will be really easy to get back here as long as we have this, and no one would really have a reason to try to get it from me since no one even knows this is all here so it should be safe to come back once we are stronger" she gave a thumbs up Andy Larsen Argent |

GROSS, DON’T BE A DIPSHIT!” Argent coughed, turning her head and feigning gagging noises when she caught a glance of Andy playing with the corpse. ”YOU BETTER NOT BE RUINING THE MEAT!” Argent was a butcher in the high-DPS-murder-things-quickly kind of way, but had no idea about actual butchering. She trusted Andy knew what he was doing, but that didn’t make it any less nasty. Once Argent finally turned to face him again, she gave him a look of “WTF” and shook her head. ”I swear, some people are literal children. Is it warm, at least?” After saying that aloud, she actually perked up a little. ”WAIT, is there any more? Think you could make something nice out of it? It's SO GODDAMN COLD HERE you might actually be onto something!”Aside from Andy’s playing with the tiger corpse, Argent was glad to have some allies show up tonight. From the sound of things, both Dee Dee and Andy were willing to come back in the future and explore this cavern some more. Argent really couldn’t wait to find out what was hidden behind that cave, and with Dee Dee’s map that she was explaining, it sounded like it would be a piece of cake! ”Awesome, sounds like a plan! Lemme know whenever you guys think you’re up to coming back here… for the time being, it’ll just have to wait.
