”KAHAHAHAHAHA! LOOKS LIKE THIS IS THE PLACE MY FRIENDS!” When Mr. Beast happened upon a key to a new mysterious place, his heart leapt with joy. A gift from Earth-chan, what a wonderful thing! Immediately, he made plans to investigate and figure out just what the key was really about.
Turns out the key was what activated a mission and would grant him access to a new zone, Ender Island… the only issue was that the island was BRAND NEW and didn’t even have a waypoint yet. If he wanted to get there, he was gonna have to travel there by foot.
Or, more feasibility, by boat! Along with his creature friends Ragline, the Wolf, and the Serpent, they traveled to the nearest land point to the island that was accessible by foot. By far, they weren’t the only ones to arrive; so many people seemed to be swarming to this area, all with the same mysterious key in hand, that Mr. Beast was almost certain this place was as popular as the Merchant’s street in europe!
As he talked amongst the crowd, the large man came to realize that EVERYONE had received a key, or at least had the option to. That explained the numbers here, as well as all the merchants that seemed to be setting up stalls along the boardwalk. After all, if EVERYONE was told to come here, of course it would be busy- and that meant extra business for them.
Mr. Beast looked around a bit, interested in the things Ragline pointed out as he rode Wolf around, but ultimately, he was here to get to the island. One of the things he DID learn about Ender Island was that it was a dangerous place to reach. Adventurers trying to reach the island made up a good portion of the crowd, and they almost unanimously agreed on how treacherous the waters were.
Despite the danger, Mr. Beast knew he had to go. The key was a gift, a calling from Earth-chan directly to go to the island, and he wasn’t going to let that go to waste. There were fewer boats in the water than there were people, but most of them seemed excited to ferry people across the waters. Mr. Beast found a man with a smaller boat with a deck at the front, enough room for him and his party to move around in case he needed to fight.
”Yes sir, that would be wonderful if we could get it a ride! We have a little bit of combat experience under our belt, and would most certainly protect you along the way!” The man and Ragline already had some experience with fighting in a watery environment, and Serpent was literally from the sea! This would be new terrain for Wolf, but that was already–Mr. Beast still needed to get him out and fight together.

With travel arrangements finalized, the boat set sail. Mr Beast and his friends stayed on the deck as their captain watched from his cabin above. He could see the island in the distance, but as they grew nearer, trouble began to stir. The water grew darker, the clouds greyer, and the island itself seemed to be lost in a temporary haze.
”Hmm… this may be dangerous, my friends. How are we holding up?” Tagline had gotten pretty cozy on Wolf’s back, who each nodded to the man as he checked in on them. Serpent seemed to actually be rather happy about the area, which made sense considering he came from the sea. Mr. Beast himself was wearing a fairly plain outfit, with the most striking accessory being the sword slung across his back. Against his massive, muscular frame, it looked smaller than it was. He drew the weapon, preparing in case a combat broke out. ”Let’s all gather close here, near the center.”
As the group converged and moved back to back of each other, it finally happened. A horn suddenly blasted noise, but not from the boat. Instead, the dreadful tone came from the waves itself. Only moments later, a group of fish-like creatures began to board the ship. ”Hold position…” All and all, three monsters had boarded the ship. Two of them looked fairly similar; they were mostly humanoid with shimmery blue skin, rows up on rows of pointed teeth, webbed appendages, and blind-white eyes. These two both had a colorful assortment of scales embedded into one of their arms.
The third and final creature to arise from the sea looked similar to the first two in appearance, only much, much more bestial. Instead of colorful scales, it had jagged spines and tentacles across its body. Its teeth jutted out, with a nose sticking out like a spear. Its tail and fins were longer and sturdier than the others.
”Careful team, these look dangerous…” Mr. Beast knew the creatures wouldn’t give him a chance to strategize, so he divided the opponents amongst themselves quickly. ”Ragline, work with the Tide Serpent to fight the twins!” Ragline gave the man a salute before hopping down and facing his opponent, a snarl on his face. Where the serpent had been coiled around itself before, it now began to slither towards the other fish.
With a bark from Wolf, he and Mr. Beast turned their attention towards the last, bestial fishman. ”Wolf, We’ll face down this beast together… time to learn what teamwork is really about!”

”Flank left!” The bestial forsaken wasted no time in charging the duo of Mr. Beast and the wolf. The man had already taught Wolf the various words and phrases that he thought would come in handy in a fight, so as the man raised his sword to block the forsaken’s clawed swipe, wolf ducked to the left. As the attack slammed into Mr. Beast’s crude blade, the man was knocked back. The power behind the attack set him off balance, on top of the fact that he wasn’t really too sure how to use a sword. ”Now!”
With his guidance, the wolf struck. It had moved around to the side of the forsaken, and when Mr. Beast commanded it, the wolf pounced forward and bit at the monster’s leg. It turned and ROARED out in pain, which MR. Beast used to slash at the creature's body. Though the weapon was new to him, his body seemed to know how to use it. He felt his cheeks grow a little rosy in the middle of this combat–his ability was no doubt another blessing from Earth-chan!
Split between two opponents, the forsaken seemed a little lost on what to do. It leapt back, turning its face between each of the two as it sniffed. The monster crouched down onto all fours, Pointing its nose-horn at the wolf as it kicked its leg in preparation.
”Uh oh, best get behind me for this one.” Wolf hopped over to hide behind Mr. Beast as the man raised an arm out to gesture him over. He raised his sword, pointing its blade at the monster about to charge them. ”Alright Tide Ripper, activate!” As he spoke, a blue glow enveloped his sword, moving up the hilt into the tip of the blade. A jet of pressurized water shot forward, slamming into the beast as it turned its head from the attack–though only for a moment before charging.

Ragline flicked his claws together as he faced off against his own forsaken. The creature’s eyes squinted as it eyed up the cat creature, before it reared back and flicked its arms out. The colorful scales that covered the fish-monster suddenly shifted to hues of red as it did so, and long claws formed on each of its hands with muscle mass increasing.
The cat looked up with a shocked face as it did so, before steeling itself and flicking its own claws again. Ragline wasn’t gonna back down from this! The monster charged, raking its claws against the deck of the ship as it did so. Ragline’s button eyes flashed with energy as he began to run to the side of the forsaken. Then he began to run to the side of the forsaken. Then he ran to the side of the forsaken… what?
Mr. Beast sensed the activation of Ragline’s ability, and shouted out in praise. ”GOOD JOB! KEEP HIM BUSY!” With the use of his [Nightmare Dance], multiple illusions of the cat circled around the forsaken. It couldn’t tell which one was the correct one any more, and slashed its claw at the nearest. The illusion dissipated as it did so, fading away into shadow… and yet, multiple Raglines remained to circle and taunt the monster.
It began to strike out viciously at the multiple illusory clones, something that Ragline used to hop up and get his own SCRATCH ATTACK out on the monster. It cried out and reached for its back at the spot it had been hit, but the muscular structure of its arms meant it was too big now to reach.
Bouncing back to the ground, Ragline and his clones faced the forsaken. Every clone smirked and copied his taunting bring-it-on gesture, causing the monster to throw its head back and wail with fury. It was PISSED.

The forsaken that the tidepool serpent faced off against looked around the boat hungerly. It seemed to glance right over the serpent, likely assuming that they were on the same side since they both came from the sea. That was the monster’s first mistake, as the Serpent coiled up and fired a blast of pressurized water from its mouth.
Eyes widened on the forsaken as it quickly slammed its fists together, causing a green hue to shimmer out from the hands like a shockwave. Its scales were replaced with various greens, and as the water blast hit its body, the monster… seemed unphased. The serpent’s own eyes narrowed with concern. Hmm… this fight wasn’t going to be so simple.
If his [Water Spout] wasn’t going to work against the forsaken, the serpent would just have to get up close and personal to it! From his coiled position, he suddenly lunged forward. His mouth was wide open and ready to chomp down on some fish meat, but quickly found himself surprised. The green forsaken CAUGHT him mid-air, twirling the serpent overhead before slamming it down on the ground with a WHAM!
The serpent hissed out in pain, twisting around again to quickly whack the forsaken with its tail. Though his tail smacks usually knocked people away, the strike against the forsaken’s ugly green face only turned its head. Serpent was angry now. First it had been ignored, and now this creature thought it could just toss it around, like nothing?!
Turning back, the Serpent lunged at the monster again. Once more, the brute yoinked him out of the sky- but this time the serpent knew its game. Its skin gained a sudden sheen to it as its speed suddenly increased. The forsaken tried to keep its grip, but it was too slow. Serpent coiled around the monster’s arm, meeting it face to face with a loud HISSSS!

Mr. Beast was greatly concerned with how the Tidepool Serpent and Ragline were doing in their fights, but with he and the wolf facing off against their own dangerous enemy, he didn’t have many opportunities to.
The brutish forsaken they were fighting against lowered the horn on its forehead right at them to charge. It was a terrifying horn, one that had CLEARLY seen combat before, and Mr. Beast shuddered as he thought of how many it had been used on in the past.
”Hold….” The man held an arm out in front of the wolf as the monster charged. Its webbed feet made loud, wet slaps with each heavy step. The wolf looked up at Mr. Beast with concern… was he really going to let the monster impale him?! ”NOW!” A sudden well of light lit up within the man and the wolf as Mr. Beast activated his [Coordination] ability. Both of them had their SPD and WIL increased, along with an inherent understanding of each other’s senses. Instinctively, both knew to leap to the side RIGHT as the forsaken flew past. The horn on its head impaled into a wall of the ship as it gargled out in annoyance.
Mr. Beast looked at the wolf with a smile on his face and spoke with cheer in his voice. ” AND NOW MY FRIEND!” He reared back with his sword, just as the wolf did the same, crouching down in a “pounce-ready” position. ”COMBO ATTACK!”
The man’s sword guided itself as he slashed into the monster’s back, felling a loose tentacle. It roared as he stepped back and the wolf leapt forward to bite the beast in the same spot. His paws latched onto the monster's back for only a brief moment as he shook his head, tearing a gash into the monster’s hide with the force of his jaw.
With an encouraging “DO IT!” Glance from the wolf, Mr. Beast pointed his sword forward. It glowed the same blue from before, but this time he drove the blade into the monster’s back thanks to the opening the wolf provided. A jet of water blasted into the forsaken, even causing it to grow in size like a pufferfish before finally….
POP!
Just like a balloon, the monster exploded. Another of Earth-chans boons, it left behind nothing but a burst of water that rained down in a brief mist. ”KAHAHAHAH! GOOD JOB MY FRIEND, YOU DID WONDERFULLY!”
His head tilted back with a quick laugh as the man pet the wolf. Mr. Beast didn’t linger long, however. ”Come, let’s give our allies a hand! But first…” Energy swelled within him as he knelt, touching the wolf to the forehead. The effect of his class activated, granting the wolf a permanent buff. Mr. Beast jumped back up after, waving his arm for the Wolf to join him as he ran off to help his friends.

As the red-scaled forsaken let out its rage-filled cry, the scales on its body shifted once more. They flashed back to their rainbow hue, constantly changing into a wide variety of colors before finally settling on a bunch of dark purples. Unlike before, however, the purple was half-mixed with some of the red scales from earlier. The red-tinted claws on the monster's body remained, but now its arms suddenly grew in length. They became thin and lanky, falling to the floor for a moment before an electric current lit up throughout them.
Ragline barely had a moment to panic before the monster suddenly spun in place. Its arms flailed out around it, with its claws raking through all of Ragline’s clones before finally hitting the cat itself. A distressed mrroww! let out of Ragline’s mouth as it was flung back from the attack, only to be met with a RUFF!
Soft fur (although slightly damp) broke Ragline’s fall as it found itself moving towards the monster once more. Looking down, Ragline was happy to see that the wolf was here and had caught him! They were headed toward the forsaken once more, who slung one of its long arms at the wolf, but hopped to the side of it just in time thanks to the effects of [Coordination]. Feigned jumping off of the wolf as his clones began to swarm the monster again, causing it to angrily lash out and start another windmill spin-attack… exactly what the pets wanted it to do.
Wolf launched itself into the air, leaping right over the forsaken as Ragline hopped off and used its Scratch again, this time right on its face. The monster was knocked out of its spin attack and fell to the ground. Ragline hopped back as the wolf used the opportunity to dash in and bite down on one of the arms, snapping it cleanly off. Ink oozed out from the wound
It was only for a moment that the forsaken stayed down. It wasn’t going to be defeated so easily… With another roar, it slung its remaining arm out around Ragline's clones. Continuing to have no effect, the creature moved its attack elsewhere.
If the cat was just going to be clones every time he attacked, it was just gonna target the Wolf instead! Pretending that it was just going for an attack on Ragline, the forsaken suddenly changed the trajectory of its arm with a flash of electricity. The claws slashed into the wolf, jolting it with electricity at the same time.

The serpent coiled around the monster’s arm and glared into its face, causing the forsaken’s eyes to go wide with alarm. Its body may have been strong, but getting hit in the face almost always hurts! Sure enough, when the serpent opened its mouth, a blast of water slammed RIGHT INTO its enemy’s face.
Although he had hurt the monster, the serpent wasn’t in the best of scenarios here. It’s [Slippery Skin] certainly helped it to evade the oncoming attacks and grapples, but it would only last for so long…
Still coiled around the arm of the forsaken after hitting it with the blast of water, the Serpent would suddenly find its mouth clamped closed. Just like the face was a weakness for the forsaken, so too was it for the sea-snake! The serpent hissed through its teeth, but it was useless to do here. Now that it had a proper grip on him, the monster was not planning on letting the serpent get away. It began to stretch it out, pulling him between the monster’s arms as they got wider and wider. It was a threat to tear the monster apart as well as an attempt to do the same.
Just as the situation was starting to look dire, the Tidepool Serpent suddenly found itself looser in the monster’s grip. Surprisingly, the monster had actually shrunk somehow… No, wait! ”Leave my friend alone!” Mr. Beast came running in sword-first, stabbing at the monster that held the serpent in its palms.
It hadn’t realized it at first, but Mr. Beast activated the effect of his [Giga Form] ability, causing the serpent to double in size. No wonder he couldn’t fit in the monster’s hand anymore! Since he suddenly had twice the space to move around with, the serpent twisted and turned until it finally had enough space to WACK the forsaken right on the arm with its tail. The monster looked down to the pet as he did so, and though VISUALLY the enemy gave no sign of damage, Mr. Beast was well aware of how damage could add up over time.
Mr. Beast leapt forward to try to fight the monster with his sword, slamming it into the body of the beast only to make a light cut. Wow… this thing was unironically strong, but it at least seemed to be STARTING to weaken from their continued onslaught!
As though in response to that thought, The forsaken lifted an arm and pelted him with it, giving him something to actually worry about! Mr. Beast let out a wheeze as he staggered backwards from the attack.

Seeing his friend get hit, Ragline cried out. His clones began to fade away as he charged toward their opponent, but the forsaken was quick to draw its arm back in and swipe at the cat. The wolf stood again, shaking off with a pant. The bonus it had received from its connection to Mr. Beast was wearing off, meaning not only was it hurt, but slower too now.
Still, his friends were relying on him now! Ragline had charged in to fight the monster, so the wolf would do the same. As he ran towards the monster again, the wolf would feel his wounds start to soothe. ”I GOT YOU, MY FRIEND!” Mr. Beast shouted from across the boat as a light washed over both of them. This was the effect of his [Helping Hand]!
Instantly feeling better, the wolf ran at Ragline, scooping up the cat onto his back just in time to get out of the way of another attack. The two of them nodded to each other in unison as the monster roared, spinning its arm around its head before throwing it down at them once more.
The wolf hopped over the arm, just barely dodging it, only to land on the ground and twist, biting down onto the thin length of arm. It stifled a cry as the electricity shocked it again, though without the claws it hurt much less than before. While the wolf held it in place, Ragline dashed toward the monster. It tugged and tugged on its arm, trying to pull free, but the wolf wasn’t going to let it go so easily- tug of war was one of its favorite games!
Ragline reached the monster, jumping up to scratch it one more final time. As its claws raked across the forsaken’s chest, the monster roared… before falling to the ground and vanishing in a puff of water. Its roar seemed to linger in the air for a moment, but Ragline and the wolf regrouped, happy it was over.
For Mr. Beast and the serpent, the monster grabbed at the air as the sea snake finally freed itself. ”Now then… LET’S SHOW HIM THE POWER OF MUSCLE!” The monster blinked as this time Mr. Beast himself picked up the serpent, spinning him around in his hand to wack it with a loud THUD right onto the monster’s chest. The serpent twisted his tail as he hit, maximizing the damage and finally knocking the forsaken down as it staggered back a few feet.
”And, Finisher time!” The serpent coiled up its massive body, opening its jaws to blast the downed forsaken one more time. As he did so, Mr. Beast copied its movements, using the Tide Ripper sword to fire off his own twin beam of water. The pressurized blasts merged in the air, slamming down onto the forsaken with a force that was enough to send it flying, spiraling off into the water never to be seen again.
Mr. Beast sighed with relief as the tension finally eased, slumping down against the sea serpent as it did the same.

With everyone’s battle now settled, the serpent shrunk back to its usual size. Mr. Beast called everyone together, checking up on each of them individually as he gave them praise for such a job well done.
”That was a tough one. I’m so proud of all of you! We couldn’t have done this without everyone working together like that, so this is what I’ve come up with as a little treat!” The man sat down cross-legged on the deck, pulling out a baggie of treats that he had from his pet shop. He dealt them out to all of his friends, smiling with them all and laughing as they finally relaxed.
It didn’t take much longer after that for their ship to reach the shore. Ender Island… it looked mysterious, just something about the air the place was giving off was different about it. Mr. Beast thanked their captain, waving them off as the boat sailed away to collect another group of passengers. Standing on the docks with his group of pets, Mr. Beast took in the small town around them.
”Well guys, looks like we finally made it! What a wonderful looking place Earth-chan has set up for us… I’m sure we’ll find all kinds of friends and fun adventures awaiting us here!” Ragline hopped up onto the wolf once more as the group set off into the shanty town. It was a hectic place with so many people coming here and all trying to set themselves up at the same time, but Mr. Beast thought it was a wonderful place. So many people, all here together with a common goal in mind…
He couldn’t wait to find out just what Earth-chan had in store for him here on Ender Island!
