Even though wild animals may have some intelligence, they still have a methodical way of survival that is easy to follow and pay attention to. In contrast, goblin creatures are humanoid-based and likely beings that mimicked society. This is the reason why Idir had a hunch as to where they were staying.


"This must be the place," declared Idir as he squatted down in order to examine the tracks in the sand. The particular goblin that left these tracks was barefooted, and the imprint of the soles were not yet washed away by the ocean water. With a light sniff, Idir was able to get a hold of the scent of the creatures, which was a foul mixture of sweat and game. This revealed quite a bit about these creatures; they were scavengers and hunters as well.


Idir noticed another smell as well. "There's a fishy smell too," he said aloud. "Is it possible that they have brought about a pescetarian diet since they are so close to the ocean?" The diets of the goblins were also something to take into account. If you knew what they liked to eat, it was also possible to figure out where they liked to hunt.


As Idir continued to explore the area, he noticed a cave further ahead by the water. His curiosity piqued, he decided to investigate further. It was possible that the goblins were hiding out there, and Idir needed to be prepared for whatever he might find.

Night fell and Idir sprang into action while he was transformed. The beautiful part about his black tiger ability was the fact that he remained invisible even though he was active and possibly attack. With the one-meter range being the factor to take into account, Idir was moving at an inhuman swiftness with his hit-and-run assaults. With vision and auditory triggers being blocked from his movements, Idir used his tough claws to swipe the necks clean from the goblins that were standing guard in front of the cave.

"Looks like the blood is purple in some kind of fashion. Still, if they can bleed, all it means is that I can kill them. "

Idir then went into the cave and caused chaos and confusion. To the goblins, he was a fast-moving creature that they could not see or hear, especially after taking out the campfire that was lighting at night and giving them warmth. With eyes like a cat, Idir adjusted pretty quickly as he laid waste to the goblin force, clawing and biting his way to victory. Afterward, he would then go on to seek the box of trinkets, but not before picking up one of the bodies of the goblins that had the least amount of damage.

"I shall dissect this when I return."

Idir was rather amused regarding his future experimentation, but he needed to make a delivery for the trinkets first before he indulged.

As Idir made his way deeper into the cave, he noticed that the air was becoming colder and damper. The flickering light of torches illuminated the walls, revealing dark, damp stone. Idir's heightened senses detected the presence of more goblins up ahead, and he knew that he needed to be careful. Using his stealth and agility, Idir moved silently through the shadows, stalking his prey.

As he crept closer, he could hear the goblins chattering to each other in their guttural language. Idir waited patiently, listening for his moment to strike. Suddenly, one of the goblins turned and caught sight of him, but it was too late. Idir pounced, his sharp claws tearing through the goblin's flesh. The other goblins were taken by surprise, and Idir made quick work of them, leaping from one to the other with deadly precision.

He eventually found the box of trinkets and picked it up with his teeth, making his way back to the surface. For now, he was content with his successful mission and the thrill of the hunt.
