Blue Beginnings
Dalton's earliest memory was of watching his grandmother playing a certain jumping plumber game on a blue Gamekid Advance with a flip screen. Together they played every game featuring the moustachio'd plumber. One birthday he got his own Gamekid and the first game he owned was an old Adult Normal Samurai Tortoise hack and slash. It was bad, but he enjoyed it regardless. This is what started his lifelong love of gaming. From Gamekid to Gamebox to Xcube and beyond.

Awkward Teen
As Dalton grew, games were his constant friend... and his only true friend for most of his life. His single mother was poor so paying rent was often tough causing them to have to move on a nearly yearly basis. As one may expect this made it hard to make lasting friends. Whatever he had was fleeting and he knew this from the beginning. He became quick to attach and detach from others, but that came with its own set of challenges in life.

After School Programs
Once Dalton graduated from school he became even more of a homebody than before. He found a remote job to support himself and finally moved out of his mother's place. It became even rarer for him to leave home with the advent of delivery services like Doordash and Uber Eats. The day-to-day interactions that he once hated became a thing of the past. One of the few things that drove him outside was a local game store and its owner. She became one of the few people that he could consider a true friend.

Eventually, he came up with the idea to create videos of him doing his favorite activity: playing games. He was too anxious to show his face to the world and so he created a virtual avatar to represent himself. Thankfully such a thing had become quite common in this day and age. The activity became a source of great joy for him as well as a secondary source of revenue. One day it evolved from making videos to streaming as well. It was during one of these streams that disaster struck and Dalton was brought to the new world by The Light.
