Today she was watching another romance in her pajama's. She didn't have any plans to go out, so she didn't both to get dressed or even take a shower. Those things took too much time, especially after staying up all night. She had, instead, took the time to order some Japanese ramen from the kitchen. It was whipped up and made - their Japanese cooks always had ramen soup ready to go for her - and had it sent to her room. Evey shielded her eyes at the bright light from the hallway, thanked the maid, and closed the door quickly before trodding to the couch in the main portion of her bedroom. The great leather sofa was covered in garbage from Japanese snacks that she always kept for the late night binging or gaming sessions. She didn't have a job - why have one when her parents paid her to just lounge around and hopefully get married at some point?
She sighed happily at the warmth coming from the ramen as her show continued and she slowly started sipping, eyes wide and watching. As the show continued, a screen materialized right in front of her. She jumped at the screen, then tried to look around it but it followed her head movements. Frustrated and chewing, she finally read the thing that had ruined the last few minutes of the anime.

Evey blinked. Adventure? Was this like some new video game? She smiled and looked at the screen for a moment, still chewing while she considered the options. Tanuki, of course, caught her eye. Those little creatures were so cute! So, the choice was, honestly, obvious from the start, and she clicked away on it. The screen shrunk in size with a little message, "Good luck!!  "
"Thanks?" Evey replied. She closed her eyes as a bright light came from one side of her. When she opened her eyes, the screen was still there, but her surroundings had changed. She stayed sitting on her couch and looking around. Rock walls surrounded her on all but one side - where an entrance to the cave looked like it should have been, but everything beyond was hazy and unrecognizable except for the sunlight streaming in from it. On the opposite side of the cave was a darkness she could barely see through if not for torches lining it in equal intervals.
"Um," Evey started to say, but then jumped at the echoes and spilled the ramen on herself. "Ouch, ouch, ouch! She swatted at the hot soup as it seeped into her sweater, the heat just about burning her chest and hand. She managed to get it off before doing any real damage. As she moved around, she noticed the screen had changed now. The message, or lack thereof, distracted her from the ramen. It had an arrow pointing to a picture of a little button with some kind of creatures on it, and it looked like it was clicking in on a shirt. Her eyebrows furrowed as she looked down at herself and noticed a button on her sweater. She clicked it. Instantly, her clothes changed. In less than a few seconds, there was a warm fuzzy outfit - almost like a kigurumi - over her body with a big fluffy tail. She wiggled the tail and it mostly moved like she'd expect a tail to - even tipping up and down. But the thing that made her even more excited was that she could feel it as it moved around.
The screen changed again, telling her information about the suit and it's abilities. She skimmed through them, getting the jist of things while also flopping the tail around excitedly. "Is this what furries feel like?" Her face was exposed, so it wasn't like a full suit or anything, but she had the ears, the tail, the claws.. pretty much everything else. As she pressed on the [CONTINUE] button on the screen, a lotus leaf appeared in the air. She took the leaf and examined it before reading more on the leaf now.

Evey's anchor is a gift she received as a young child from a close friend. It is a small button pin that her friend had given her at an anime convention. It may not mean much to many people, but that button was one of the markers for her becoming a true otaku. The button is a picture of a raccoon and cat playing together in an anime style - uniquely commissioned by Evey's friend. Evey had thought her friend was going to keep it since they had gotten it commissioned, but she's held onto it ever since it was given to her right when they got it. The button is one that is now a single of a mass she's collected over her years of con-going and internet impulse buying.

PASSIVE: Tanuki's Rules. As a master of illusions and people never really know if you're real. While under the effects of ANY transformation, you will auto dodge the next damaging attack that would hit you. This dodge will shift you 5 meters away while leaving behind a Tanuki doll resembling you to take the hit. After activating, this can’t be activated again for another 10 posts.[break]

The Tanuki is a trickster Yokai that utilizes magical leaf's to confuse and harass enemies and support allies. You have a button attached to your clothes that, when activated, gives you a tanuki suit. This suit comes with a large 2 meter fluffy tail that you can use one per turn to smack an opponent for [PWR]Rank-1 basic damage. Once every 5 posts and on your first post, you gain 1 Lotus Leaf. These lotus leaves can be placed over your head or thrown at allies to transform them into any object or animal you want that can fit within a 3 meter cube. This transformation will last for 3 posts or until the target takes damage. Allies gain whatever movement utility abilities the transformation has (like flight or the ability to swim) and can breathe underwater if turned into a fish. Allies can end their transformation early if they wish to. [break]

Will-o-Wisp: Spawn an oak leaf in your hand. You can hold on to this leaf for up to 2 posts, after which it burns up and the ability goes on CD for 2 posts. When the leaf is thrown, it immediately burns up and summons a 1 meter Ghostly orb of fire. This orb will travel at [SPD]. If it hits an ally, it will spawn 3 .3 meter orbs for 3 posts. These orbs circle the ally and if one makes contact with an enemy, it will explode and deal [MAGI] damage. Also while there is at least one orb circling the ally, the ally will heal for 10% their vitality. The ability ends early if all 3 orbs explode. After the orbs disappear or are destroyed, the ability will start its normal Cooldown. CD 5 post.

Tumbling Act - You’ll roll forward auto-equipping your Tanuki suit. Your bushy tail seems to completely wrap you making you nothing more than a furry wheel. As you tumble you gain +30% [SPD] as well as a delightful trick. At any point in time, you’re able to summon forth an illusionary wheel to mimic your movements. This wheel will automatically attract aggro from those whose [WIL] is lower than your [MAGI]. This ability can last for up to two posts before going on a three-post cooldown.

It is an apple that tastes delicious, it is full of nutrients, and smells fragrant. However, the apple looks like an anatomically correct heart. It also shoots out red juice that looks exactly like blood. It is very disturbing for people to watch you eat it. [break][break] Mummy Bandage - A small worn piece of bandage. Three times per thread this bandage can be slapped onto a target, once on, it will heal [VIT] equal to your [MAGI] for two posts before harmlessly falling off and returning to your inventory. [break][break] Prop Flair Gun - Three times a thread you can fire off this flair gun, without the need of a firearm license, up into the air. This goes up roughly 50 meters. Those that see this flair and have a [WIL] lower than your [MAGI] will think nothing of the flair itself as they cannot see the truth. Those that can see, will notice that a ball of fire will fly down from the sky at +1 rank than your [SPD] stat towards 1 target within 15 meters of where you originally shot the flair. Upon impact, the fireball deals your [MAGI] stat in damage. [break][break] Floral Pattern Sundress - A sundress totally decorated with a pastel floral pattern. Florals in the spring, how groundbreaking. The dress acts as a piece of armor and can withstand damage up to your [DEF] stat, capping out at A-rank, in damage before breaking. Once broken, you will have to wait until the next thread to reuse it. While worn, you can opt to three times a thread to cause the ground around you to bloom with life, instantly healing you 25% of your [VIT] stat. Evey has always and most importantly been an otaku. She lives on the internet and for anything Japanese manga, anime, and any mixture or offshoots of those. She was born to millionaires, which made her life very easy from the beginning. She would never have to work a day in her life and anything she wanted she had on a silver platter. This made her motivational drive to work very low, except for things she wanted to do like finishing a manga or 100% completing a game. Some of her favorites were games and anime/manga containing animals, specifically because she was not allowed to have any pets while she lived with her parents. While they weren't about to cut her off completely, they would if she had no plan after moving out. So she stayed. Now any then she would try to sneak in a kitten or a mouse to keep as a pet - the maids and butlers wouldn't tell, but eventually they'd find out and it would be given away. So eventually, she'd stopped trying to bring home pets to secretly keep.[break][break]
expectations
After high school, she was expected to go to college and find a spouse. Things that were not important on her list of things to do, but were on her parents' to get her out of the house - their mansion with more rooms than one could keep track of, that is. She dabbled in college classes to make her parents happy, but quickly quit before she flunked out. Evey wouldn't do the homework, tests, or even go to class more often than not. It just wasn't important to her - not more important than the most recent episode of the anime she was watching, or collecting rare first edition figurines of her favorite characters. After a small amount of time her parents left her to her own devices, focusing instead on her more successful younger brothers and sister.[break][break]
