Not that he cared too much if any were used for himself. He quickly dismissed every instance once he encountered more and more foreigners.
"You can read it?" Another surprised look crossed his features. "Huh... I couldn't read most of the hiragana during the tutorial..." His head tilted to the side as he puzzled over this, but he soon dismissed it. If the system allowed her to read everything, then she was better off than him. If it wasn't for the life-or-death part, taking the tutorial while on a beach might have been soothingly stressful, like a business trip where the meeting is along the coastline. "Ah, hirigana is one of Japan's writing systems. If you go to Japan, you might see it, but... I'd suggest not. Japan is considerably more dangerous right now compared to Seoul."
His class? "I believe everyone received one. I'm a Beast Tamer." He flashed Pori a sheepish smile. "My only beast so far is my old dog." He would have to go searching for new additions to the team eventually, but now was not the time for that.
They would soon arrive at a worn-down apartment building, and Min-su would lead Pori up three flights of stairs before stepping out on the third floor. He passed by two doors before stopping at the entrance to his little home, unlocking the door and opening it so he could slip inside first, holding the door open with one hand while he used his leg to keep a cat or two from rushing out the door.
"Please take your shoes off right here and make yourself at home."
His apartment was comprised of a single multi-functional room that acted as the kitchen, living space, and bedroom. A kitchenette was immediately accessible after entering the apartment, a two-person sofa was pushed up against the wall on the far end adjacent to the meager window, and a now-useless television was angled in the corner opposite of the sofa. A small table that could only fit two people was nestled near the kitchenette. Sliding doors allowed access to the closet (that was also hiding his bedding), and another door gave access to the narrow bathroom.

As far as he was aware, the Korean peninsula was the only place filled with slimes. There were likely other areas, too, but seeking out slime habitats was not on his to-do list.
A soft laugh lifted the corners of his lips. The Slime Lord class made the girl's slime interest all the more understandable. "No slimes, I'm afraid. My taming requires collars, and, I, uh... I'm worried slimes might dissolve the collar..." As tempted as he was to try, he would rather not lose his only means of taming.
Min-su briefly paused and looked down, finally noticing that, yes, Pori was very shoeless. How had he missed that? "Ah, please feel free to wash up in the bathroom." He pointed to a door toward the other end of the small apartment. "I have socks you can wear after. Even if your body is part slime, you might still get sick from the cold." Or infection. Oh dead.

"Whoa... robots." However, she would have return to being disappointed when the beast tamer mention now having slimes. She pouted a bit, "Well, you got to strong to control these creatures. Maybe if you were a beast lord. hehehe." A bit of arrogances shaped a sneaky grimace on her face. "If I ever get my minions to follow me, I wont use collars. I will lead them with strength, power, charisma, and love. But mostly strength. Muhaha." Deep down, she felt much colder. Strength was the only thing she could think of to get people to stay with her and not abandoned her. [attr="class","minsu-info"]While his class limited his tamed creatures to those wearing a collar, he could argue that the actual taming process required every other means. Pepero was the exception, having already bonded with him over the course of many years. A salamander might require cooling it off, and a horned rabbit might require coaxing it with food. There was always the option to subdue with brute force, but... Min-su wasn't the type.
In the time it took Pori to clean up, Min-su had already pulled out everything he would need and set water on the small stovetop to boil. He glanced up from the meat he was thinly slicing. "Not yet," he chuckled and pointed to the table mere feet away from the kitchenette. "I can't let a guest cook, so make yourself comfortable. I'll bring you something to snack on while you wait."
Min-su finished his preparations after a few more minutes. A cat wove between his legs as he stepped over to the sink to rinse his hands and knife. After drying his hands, he rummaged through one of the cabinets and pulled out a box of honey cookies. He jostled the box until five cookies fell from the box an awaiting bowl. Returning the box to the cabinet, he turned toward the table and set the bowl of cookies down.

Like waiting 2 hours to have 1 cookie is a bit long no matter how good it was. However, she did not see the man only offering her a "cookie." Not being allowed to cook did not really bother her. While she could do the bare minimal for cooking and was an expert in microwave usage, she would not call herself a chief. So she just watched half interested only because her stomach was pushing her to watch. In truth, she saw cooking as boring. Why wait so long when you could just eat it already. Though, the noodles were not the best tasting stuff so like she understood but her instincts never subscribed to the idea. [break][break] SOOO, when the man brought out a box of honey cookies, her eyes perked up. Despite what she thought before, she would never turn down cookies. 5 cookies at to keep her contained for a bit.
