As much as he didn't want to have to bring the mood down again, Sami couldn't help but shake his head from side to side once more. "No, no. That much is unrealistic. Unless we find someone with some kind of farmer or cooks class, doing much with food might get a bit difficult. I mean, think about it. There are all kinds of monsters roaming about the fields and stuff now. I am sure that as time goes on, that much will only get worse. Until everyone kind of settles in and is able to overtake a few of these beasts on their own, returning back to the way that things were will be quite difficult. As such, finding a place with unlimited food is just as unrealistic."

While it might have been nice for the two of them to have tracked such a place down, Sami just couldn't imagine the two of them getting that lucky. For the time being, there was likely to be not much else aside from the chaos. Perhaps such a place would exist in the future but even then, it will likely be entirely run by people like them. People that had been lucky enough to be embraced by the light. Such a vision did have a higher chance of becoming a reality if multiple people were to work on it together though.

"Hm.. How to say this in a way that makes the most sense to you." Taking a moment to scratch at the back of his head, Sami would turn his undivided attention back towards the teenage slime. "A guild is what essentially an organized group of people that tend to have abilities. At least that is how it usually goes in the light novels. The head of which is known as a Guild Master. More often than not though, the Guild Master tends to be whoever it is that is the strongest in the guild. It's usually someone that persevered at the beginning of the trials and the like, like us, so perhaps we could become one someday? If we don't go out of our way to join one anyways."

Hoping to try and convey his ideology in a simpler way, Sami would look around until he had found a stick or a shell. Given where they had been located at at the moment, the shell was what would eventually come into his hand. He would than use the shell to help him draw a diagram in the sand. "It tends to vary by guild to guild, or perhaps novel to novel, by the ranking system is usually something like this. We start with the Guild Master at the top and just below him we have the Vice Guild Master. Below them tends to be Team Captains and below those Team Captains, there are simple soldiers assigned to a unit. It's very militaristic, to say the least."

Chucking the shell out towards the waters, Sami would continue. "All in all, it is a community of likeminded people that are following along the same goal. There are various benefits that can come from being a part of a guild, such as access to unique quests and items, and bonuses based on guild size. They even come with a home base!! Depending on the setting, this can range anywhere from a typical guild hall to a high rise penthouse building. It all depends on the strength and renown of your guild. And of course there is one final thing that guilds usually do that quite honestly make them the most important thing to be a part of. In addition to all of the other benefits, guilds tend to arrange large scale raids on dungeons or gates. That means that there are bigger parties of people working together. And the more people that you have assisting you on a mission or in a dungeon? Well those simply increase your chances of survival."

A few curt nods would be offered in response to the girl as Sami had begun to think over how exactly he should come out and answer. 'This girl.. Is getting hungry all that she is capable of?' 'At least she is capable of something.. Wanting to eat is better than wanting nothing.' 'Eat! Eat! Eat! What is she? Some kind of gluttonous bas-' Gluttony. That was exactly what Pori had made the man think of. Something that had yearned for anything and everything, albeit in her case it was solely food. "You really like to eat.. Even if we manage to get a group of people together, I'm really hoping that it'll be enough to tide you over. Perhaps your class should have been something pertaining to Gluttony." A short laugh would escape from the mans lips as he had thought back to the fact that subclasses were usually an option.

"I have no doubt that we are going to get stronger as time goes on. As long as we don't die before then of course. If you really want to eat as much as you do though, you are going to have to work real hard at ensuring that you can survive. Speaking of which, what exactly is your class? Are you some kind of monster rancher? What were those things called.. Jell Troops?" Several groans could be heard from within his head at this point and Sami would have to continue to watch the way that Pori would react to his comments. Would she even know what a Jell Troop was? Was she too young for that? Damn he felt old.

How it is that Sami had wanted to build his class moving forward was already relatively sealed. If he had been capable of increasing his willpower up to a certain point than he was sure that he would be able to get these voices to stop. To leave him be. Or at the very least for their presence to feel diminished. Of course having the ability to spam his defensive capabilities time and time again had also worked out quite well. Honestly, the only issue that he was seeing with this thought was that he didn't exactly have a way to defend himself against physical attacks. Simply mental and soul attacks. Should he.. perhaps throw some of his points into magic? Well he would be able to pick up on what he should do after speaking with her. "And honestly? I'm not quite sure how to go about creating a guild yet. I'm sure that we will figure it out though. Hopefully the system is able to assist with the whole thing."

Rather than answering straight away, Sami would take the time to look over Pori's class. The more that he had understood about the way that it worked, the easier it would be for him to turn her into a useful enough tool. Or friend.. Either or. Regardless, once he had looked it over for a few moments, Samuel would nod to her. "Slime Lord, huh? That sure sounds like a fun class..!! Definitely explains the whole transforming into one thing. Although.. Wouldn't a title like Slime Lord mean that you would be capable of controlling all slimes? Maybe this is something that we'll have to consider attempting at some point. An army of slimes at your disposal.. It would be stupid to try and mess with you." The fact that slimes were more often than not to be considered among the weakest starter enemies was something that he would decidedly leave out. Even if the voices in his head were pressuring him to mention it or to taunt her with it.

The fact that she had more or less been capable of shrugging off any physical attack was quite honestly something that Sami couldn't ignore. In terms of combat, he had already known that she was valuable. It was almost as though they had balanced one another out. The downside of this though was that it would be quite easy to poach someone like her to your side given her very basic needs. "It seems as though we've got a decent party coming together. In order to balance things out, we'll likely need to find some kind of DPS and a support character. Like someone that could heal for example. If that makes sense to you."

As he had sat there and contemplated what exactly his future party composition should look like, a sudden thought would dawn upon him. "Oh, right.. The other items that I got from our trial were an escape rope and some kind of a medallion. Or half of one anyways. You don't happen to have the other half, do you?" If Pori did indeed happen to have the other half of what he was looking for, Sami was certain that they could get some special out of it. Connecting the two halves.. Well perhaps this was something that they could attempt at some point.

Another couple of curt nods would be offered to the teenage slime once more. "I suppose that that is an option. Only way that we can really find out though is to try and track down some slimes. It's rather unlikely that we'll come across much of anything while we are here, in the [Safe Zone]. From my understanding, this is one of the only places that we can't really be hurt or killed. In these [Safe Zones]. Only reason that things got iffy before was because of the fact that we were dealing with our tutorial, you know?"

Rather than keep his attention directly on Pori, now that he had been thinking about the future, Sami would allow for his gaze to avert itself off towards the ocean beyond. In his mind, it was entirely possible that the ocean itself was a [High Risk] area. Perhaps that is why there were those massive light barriers between a certain point and where he was now? "You have to admit that it's kind of funny how this world is working right now.. Really does feel like one big ol' video game. Take these light barriers for example. It's almost like the rest of the world hasn't loaded in yet." A small chuckle would escape from the mans lips as he would continue to think over how to properly expand upon what she had been asking him.

"To answer your question though, a DPS is someone that can deal vast amounts of damage to our enemies. They are the big hitter. It stands for damage per second but most people simply refer to it as DPS. And a healer? Well I suppose that with the classes that the two of us have managed to get, that it's entirely possible for a doctor class to be out there. Even regular ol' doctors might be able to still assist to some degree. If this is anything like my stories though, we'll likely have to find someone with some kind of druidic of priest class. Those are usually the ones that are capable of healing people." Taking a moment to turn his attention back towards Pori for all but a moment, Sami would take note of the amulet that she had been displaying. "Yeah, that. Although I'm honestly not sure if our two halves are meant to go together or if they are simply just two halves. Maybe there is another half out there that must be earned? There's no real telling unless we try and stick these two together, I suppose."

Was Pori truly unaware of how slimes tended to function or was she simply playing it off? Even if it was more often than not considered to be among the weakest of starter monsters, a slime could truly devastate an unprepared individual. While they may seem unaggressive at first, those little things could likely still drop a body if it came down to it. Well.. depending on the game/story in which they are currently within. Sometimes they truly are that miserable, unfortunately. "I'm not quite so certain that I can agree with you on the whole slimes being happy thing but I guess that we'll come to find out how dangerous they can be when we come across them." A shrug would then be offered in response.

With the topic having returned to the topic of attacks once more, Sami would proceed to open up his shop menu and filter through for a mystery box. He wasn't quite sure as to what he would get from here but he was hoping that he might acquire some kind of armor or weapon. Anything really... but then again, a weapon would have been far more beneficial, given the fact that he technically already had armor of a sorts. After having clicked the button, a chest would appear within the young mans inventory. With a quirked eyebrow, Samuel would click on the box and after having done so, the the chest in on his submenu would begin to glow and play some kind of animation. It wouldn't be too long before the man would receive yet another notification.

A sly smile would begin to creep upon Samuel's face as he had decided to remove his newfound weapon from his inventory. "I'm def proud of you for learning how to deal with these enemies in your own way." He would than begin to hold up the taser so that Pori could see it. "Now you have a way with dealing with these beasts and so do I~" He would than proceed to place the taser on his lap before reaching into his inventory and removing his half of a medallion. Without much of a second thought, he would proceed to attempt to place his half of the amulet together with Pori's. If something were to come of it than this was something that they would need to address later but if not? Well he would simply toss his half of the medallion into his inventory.

Regardless of what would happen with the medallion, once that situation was more or less done, Sami would proceed to stand up and hold his taser firmly within his grip. "I suppose that we should head on out and try and try to find some of these slimes of yours, yeah? I suggest that we try and warp on over to Seoul. Korea is more often than not where these kinds of novels take place sooooo it should be fine~" And with that, Sami would proceed to head towards one of the massive obelisks nearby.
