Despite the wave of mental exhaustion that had overtaken him, Sami would maneuver his way on over towards the front of the cart. It was clear that Pori had intended to overcome the trial against this beast by feasting upon the enemies. Perhaps not the way that he would have gone about things but thankfully they were entirely different people. "Right.. You've got this." Although he wouldn't say this much aloud, this statement had been meant more so as a conscious reminder for himself than it had been him spurring on his companion and her very, very hungry baby slimes.

After having grabbed a hold of the cart, Sami would begin to pull it onwards towards the nearby location. He had been so close to achieving the goal that this mission had set out for them and he wasn't about to give up here. All that it would take is a few more steps.. A few more steps and the two of them would be safe for the time being. That is until the world decides to throw another challenge at them. "This is going to be a ton of work.. Hopefully we can find a few others to join our cause at some point." Continuing to do nothing more than converse with himself, Sami would move ever forward. He was almost there. The real question now? Which would occur first: Pori beating this lycanthrope into submission or Sami getting this damned cart over the finish line. Only time will tell.

Baby Slime GO' [break][break] The wolfman slashed and gnawed at Pori. The girl cried in pain before pushing herself away from it. It felt like his strikes were just going through her, like her body was not fully solid. Despite that, it really hurt and there was slime on the ground from where she was holding the wolf down. It tried to get back up but then the slime baby leaped and nommed on its throat which finally took out the beast. After wards, the slime baby plopped and died in a small smilesplosion. "NO BABY" It was so cruel. It ate so much that it died. Such a cruel fate. "I grieve." The girl said while lowering her head. But she would not keep it down forever. She now knew that the box had cake in it and well, she was promised cake. So it was only far that she got a piece, or a slice, or the whole thing cause she did work really hard and it was only fair. However, the cart was gone and there could only be one reason. Clearly Sami wanted the cake to be eaten at the party. Little did he know, she did not care for such dramatics. So the girl's stomach roared and then she ran off to the building, following the lines in the sand. "SAMI, I DONT CARE ABOUT THE PARTY. LET ME HAVE THE CAKE NOW!" "This hotheaded girl, I swear. What in the hells is wrong with her?" These were the kinds of thoughts that would naturally come to his mind as the voice of the teenage slime could be heard encroaching. She was clearly going to mess this mission up if he didn't get things done and over with quickly. That having been the case, despite how much of a pain in the ass it had turned out to be, Sami would begin to run faster than he had ever run in his life. All of the energy that he had dwelling dormant within him was no actively being used to increase his speed so that he could get the ever living hell away from Pori in time to complete the mission.

'She is going to make us fail, Samuel. It is time to remove her from our path, lest she find her way in our way again.' 'You can't do that!! She deserves better. Far better than we do.' 'Don't listen to these two and just chop her frickin' head off! At least that way you can make sure that she never gets in the way of ours missions again!' Each of these voices could be heard once again, almost as though they were there with him in person. And in his eyes, they were. Three physical manifestations of these voices had accompanied the young man, albeit only he could see them. Attempting to do his best to ignore them, Sami would continue to push on with every ounce of effort that he could muster. And with that, Sami would successfully manage to step upon the desired location that the tutorial had set for the two of them. As far as he was concerned, the tutorial had been over. And thanks to the notification windows that had popped up? Well this much had been rather clear to him.

This nightmare was finally going to turn to a dream. once she ate this, she would then wake up... wake up. The girl stopped in her tracks. This place was horrible but... did she really want to leave the dream. Did she really want to return to the real world were the men in suits would take her away, where all her friends left her, where she would have to be reminded of the boy. It was cold and snowing too. Maybe, she never did get found. Maybe she was slowly dying in the cold. Maybe she could not ever return and once she had this cake, everything would poof. [break][break] Well, if that was the case, it was worth it. Her life had been hard for so long. All those staring eyes, nights with stomach pain, days of being called... It did not matter. It was over. If this place was not a dream... If it was real like the man said. She wanted to welcome it. She wanted a different life, one where she was free from hunger.
