"And, your place is right over there!" Hana pointed towards one of the first floor apartments, as they exited the office area. "Just keep this in your inventory, and you should be good to open it whenever you wanna check it out!" Beaming happily, she handed over to Summer a futuristic looking patch or sticker of some sort, in the shape of the ANTHEM Guild symbol. "If you equip it...well, nevermind. Time for that later."

Waving Vanilla up the steps as well, she ascended to the second floor, heading towards the door to her apartment she'd pointed out earlier. "I'll message Miss Bee and Aliyah too, in case they want to join us!" As soon as her hand touched the doorknob, the other two could hear it automatically unlock, before she opened it and moved inside to make room for them to enter.

As they could've expected from the size of the building and the reception area, the apartment was rather small. A narrow entryway with a place to leave their shoes, leading to a cozy living room that turned into a kitchen along one wall. A small couch, low table, and several cushions strewn around the floor. Down another narrow hallway they could spot what must be the bedroom through an open door.

"I've got drinks and snacks and everything here like I said." Not to mention the TV taking up most of one wall, a compact piece of furniture below it packed full of various discs to go with the player she'd scrounged. "Um, I can move the table too, if we need more room..." Hana did seem slightly nervous about inviting people inside her recently claimed little home.

Hana's hammer began to reel back in, returning to normal size as she detached herself from the floor, armor retracting back into place as chunks of the carpet were sent flying. She hadn't been worried about the recovery time at first, fine to stay back while Aliyah and her birds launched their assault. But, once she saw it preparing a big attack, she knew it was time to rejoin the fight. Quickly.

Blue lines glowed to life across her armor, similarly colored energy rippling through the boots as she dashed forward, speed enhanced even further. Music shifting into a new song as the few remaining illusory copies conveniently danced their way in front of Aliyah, an extra layer of temporarily protection as they would vanish soon anyway. Suddenly the musician blurred into view, unceremoniously hefting her up in one arm as they zipped away. Hopefully the birds could fly out of the way themselves, one rescue was all she could manage!

After the sudden jerk of movement, Aliyah realized she was now behind the monster. "Sorry!" This was all the armored teen had time for, as she relaxed her grip in case the witch wanted to maneuver on her own. Suddenly, somehow, Hana had a small cannon strapped to the hand otherwise busy holding that hammer.

After a brief moment to aim, the expected cannonball blasted forth, slamming into the minotaur as it began to turn towards them. Hana wasn't quite sure how much damage the impact had done, as high pressure water exploded outwards a moment later, flattening several of the already damaged walls around the mythical creature.

Printer paper hadn't really been on her list before now. "I don't know much about, like, newspaper printers though. I wish we could just look up stuff online..." Hana sighed at the thought.

She didn't mind the system food, but she'd also never had problems with convenience store food either. In Japan or America. Even though they'd frequently had a private chef, she'd often snuck around the corner for snacks. Hana didn't think any of that was appropriate to share right now, so she just took the cards from Andy properly, with both hands, looking each over intently. "...who's this Kitty person? Is she, like a catgirl?" There had to be some of those now, right?

At the offer of services, she perked up, placing the cards safely into her inventory. "You could always join ANTHEM! Any friend of Dee Dee's is welcome." Hana had invited the shorter girl as well, but she wanted to keep her options open, apparently. "Oh, you too, Miss Vanilla." She blinked, realizing the familiar face had just wandered in to join them. Hana had just opened the digital gates for anyone in the area on her friend list, apparently.

"Oh, nice to see you again." She gestured towards the latest arrival, then the others already assembled. "I picked up Vanilla and some others in the truck Dee Dee repaired for me, and gave them a ride into town after their Tutorials. And then showed them how to do a mission." Hana smiled at the memory.

At the mention of Summer joining, she got visibly excited. "Really, are you sure? I know weird things are going on with that other Guild, but I didn't want to pull you away or anything." She fidgeted nervously at the thought. "I've got a TV and disc player and a laptop in my apartment! Just, you know, no streaming or anything." She blinked. "Maybe we should relocate there now, unless Miss Vanilla wants to grab any supplies down here first."

Hana kept glancing between the crowd and Enigma, as he explained the current situation. "W-well it wasn't like I wanted to steal Summer, but we're good friends, so..." She trailed off, smiling sheepishly. "I hope some of the others reappear at some point. But, for now...we could always pool our resources? If Summer joins me, you could too, and then..."

The blonde trailed off as she spotted a particular face in the crowd. A tall Japanese woman with three swords floating around her definitely stood out! She didn't mean to stare, but apparently she had been, as the stranger suddenly locked eyes with her. Blushing, she awkwardly waved to the elegant lady.

"Uh, hello! Sorry!" She glanced back at Enigma before moving a bit closer to Hikari, so she didn't have to shout. "We're just both looking for new recruits for our Guilds!" Once she'd narrowed the distance, the teen bowed properly in return. "I'm Hana Sakuyuki, nice to meet you!" She'd slipped back into Japanese, not that anyone could really tell anymore. Besides sounding more formal.

Blinking behind her glasses, she turned slightly to spot the new arrival that had hopped up onto a bench that just happened to be right between the two of them. "...oh! Do you know 'Clear and Simple' by Hikari Utano!?" Doubtful, even though it was one of her English language songs. Hana was immediately distracted by the promise of music, temporarily forgetting about both of the people she'd been attempting to converse with.

"Are you sticking with the whole, uh, one person per type thing?" The Guild had changed after what happened to Pori, so she wondered if it would change again.

The musician was a little more relaxed around the masked man this time. Although their first encounter in Paris hadn't gone very smoothly, after completing a mission with him, Hana had gotten more comfortable around him. Although he wasn't exactly the easiest person to be comfortable around.

"Hmm, well we fought rats and birds, so it's gotta be some kind animal. Maybe, like, a giant snake or something?" No, snakes didn't have feet, she realized a moment later. "Or, uh, what's that thing that's always in mazes?" Everything went silent mid-sentence, as Hana looked between the two entrances nervously.

Her head then jerked towards the exploding wall, raising her shield arm as she snapped her fingers. The music her armor had been producing suddenly increased in volume, shifting fully into a dance break as multiple illusory copies of the musician appeared in front of her. Each spun and posed in turn, as the minotaur crashed through them, shattering each one...while being steadily slowed down as a result.

As the final copy vanished, Hana was revealed, ready and waiting to shove the head of her hammer into the beast's midsection. "Now it's my turn!" Pieces of her leg armor suddenly popped out before slamming through the carpeted floor to give her extra support. And then the hammer's bone head suddenly increased in size, almost as large as the minotaur itself...the weapon's haft rapidly extending!

Hana dug in as hard as she could as the hammer surged in size, the growth pushing the creature through the opening in the wall. And then smashing it through the wall behind that. And the one behind that. "I can't really swing this thing after that! Blast it with whatever you've got!"

"Supplier...?" It took a few moments for Hana to catch up to the message that appeared. "Uh, well, the system stuff is so cheap I can pick up a bunch just from doing boring missions in town." Most were so uneventful she couldn't even remember them. "Some sort of arrangement with, like...a farmer or cook or something would be nice." Maybe they could get things like rice and seafood relatively close to where they'd set up.

"This place, like, remodeled when I picked it for the Guild. It got all cleaned up with new furniture, and the water and power started working like normal." Hana was definitely glad they didn't have to worry about that. "I've still got some real convenience store snacks in my inventory, but my supply's getting low. I should make another trip to search for more..."

This seemed to remind her of something, as Hana stood up straight. "Oh, right! I almost forgot. Since this place has electricity..." The musician moved behind the reception desk, poking around...until the familiar sound of a computer and other electronics booting up was heard. "The office here has a computer, and a printer too!" She smiled over the desk towards Dee Dee. "If you can find more paper for it, you can print off as many copies of that guide you made as you want."

Turning to the tall stranger after turning these devices on, she nodded at his suggestions. "I'm, uh, kinda figuring all this out as we get to it. Anything you can do to help would be appreciated!" Hana gave him a proper bow, more formal with him than with the others she knew better.

Hana noticed the word bubble pop into existence, eyes flickering back and forth behind her glasses as she read the message, nodding along. "Uh huh, I needed it to be close enough to Tokyo to, uh, commute there, without actually being inside the High Risk Zone. We're not ready to deal with that immediately." While considering how to answer the rest of that, the stranger she'd noticed tagging along with Dee Dee spoke up.

"Oh, really? I guess there are limits to the system teleportation and inventory and stuff." Hana nodded again, stopping to think for a moment. It wouldn't let her teleport the truck they'd salvaged either. She still had to store it in Los Angeles. They should really consider setting up a second Guild presence there soon.

"Summer might have some ideas on how to better protect this place. That's kinda her thing." She smiled in return, after letting the pink-haired girl introduce herself to the others. "And I'm Hana. You're friends with Dee Dee?" She looked between the shorter girl and the extremely tall man that was tagging along.

Then the musician suddenly let out a surprised squeak, blushing before bumping Summer back. "Um, good thing I cleaned up earlier." After a few weeks of luxuriating in having her own private place, she'd definitely created a mess she didn't want anyone else to see. "Everyone can fit in there, but uh, we've got some vacant apartments with basic furniture if anybody wants to stay here overnight. I mean, there's a couch, though!"

Hoping her blush would begin fading soon, she guided everyone into what seemed to be the small lobby of the apartment building. There was a sort of reception desk with an office behind it, tiny mailboxes along one wall, and several small tables set up. The tables and desk were currently covered in scavenged supplies, along with assorted snacks. A space for boring things like socks and shirts, some flashlights and tape, sunglasses, rope, tents. A wide variety, sorted as best she could manage.

"Feel free to grab whatever you need. There's even some video games and stuff that Summer helped me find." A pile of CD and DVD players as well, real old school stuff to avoid the ban Earth-chan seemed to place on most digital media. "The rooms have fridges, so there's some cold stuff in there. But I've also got a lot stored in my inventory, if you have any requests!"

The question of what everything actually was now...it was simply too 'big' for Hana to spend too long worrying about it. She'd panicked and cried the first few days, but once that was out of her system she started focusing on the here and now. This could all be fake - she could even be fake - but that didn't stop her from feeling hungry or tired or hurt. [break][break]
Everyone else was in the same situation as her...probably. No reason to be rude to them, even if there was a chance they didn't exist. The only time things got confusing for her was when dealing with creatures that seemed to be intelligent. Even if all the other 'players' were people like her, weren't these pets being controlled by Earth-chan?

This definitely wasn't the time or place to talk it out, though. "Oh, right. I think I've seen this in previews before. But I stay away from those types of videos..." She shivered at the thought, although this movement was obscured by her armor. "But if the monster comes to us, that makes it a whole lot easier!"

Since her hands were full handling that giant hammer, she let Aliyah handle marking their path. Although it seemed like they might not have to worry about the maze for long. "Oh, I guess that's the monster, huh?" Hana checked the next few corners, until picking the largest room she could find to make their stand.

Hana shoved the stone sword away with her shield arm, pulling back to swing her fist at the warrior next, sending it sliding away. The two crashed together, now in perfect position to be caught in the flying web, crumbling one and restraining the other.

Hammer gripped in both hands again, she wound up for a giant swing...blasting a hole in the statue's torso, sending limbs and head flying in multiple directions. "Whew! Glad that's over." She nudged the pieces around with a toe, making sure everything had stopped moving.

"Well, now we've got a map. And...no more missions popping up." Hana checked her inventory to examine the key item they'd recovered. If this was the end of the trail, they could teleport out of here and get back to a Safe Zone. Hopefully with new missions and other options unlocked!

"So, here's the place!" Hana seemed quite excited, pointing towards a rather mundane apartment building as they rounded a corner onto the street approaching it. The Guild had its own waypoint, but it only worked for proper members. She still had to walk in any visitors. Now they could mark it on their map if they wanted to return later, at least.

"I know it doesn't look like too much from the outside, but it's nicer inside! Plus we've got our own parking spots, and some storage space. Oh, and the whole thing's designated as a Safe Zone, too!" They were between proper zones at the moment, so the area wasn't really very dangerous, but that was still reassuring.

The teen continued to lead her visitors closer, pulling up a system screen once they were nearby, clearing everyone to enter. "The neighborhood is still mostly abandoned, but I've noticed a few people living in some of the houses and stuff." She gestured around the area. No activity now, but maybe they kept just enough distance to not be associated with the Guild while still hoping they could turn to it for assistance, when necessary.

"Everyone has their own apartment with individual entrances. Mine's right there, and Miss Helen's is over there." Hana pointed out two doors on the second floor, while heading for one at ground level. "We can go relax in my place after, but we set up the, like, manager's area for visitors, too." Hana was still beaming that proud, happy smile, as she waved her visitors in the main entrance.

"Huh? Oh, lots of other insect stuff, but that was the only spider one. Sorry!" Hana gave her companion a sheepish smile, before turning her attention to the new arrivals, hidden doors sliding open as the pedestal lowered into the floor. At least these statues were less garish than the one looming over them at the moment.

She also recognized the stray monsters that followed the warriors in. "I wonder if these ones are any stronger..." Hefting up her handy hammer, Hana took a big swing at the sea creature...which once again exploded into surf and form. "Ah, nope!"

The moving statue seemed slightly more formidable, though. And Hana was more than happy to let Sebastian and his pets deal with the sickly looking wolf. The musician got a chance to use the shield she'd equipped, as the warrior took a swing with its stone sword. When the two items met, a melodic tone pulsed through the room, causing cracks to appear on both of the inorganic warriors.

People grew attached to video game pets or stuffed animals, and these creations were far more lifelike.

Hana seemed clueless, but once the others had joined her, she began to peek forward. "Oh, you know, when Dee Dee and I were exploring some caves..." After a moment, she produced several rolls of reflective tape. "Maybe it'll just change things around while we're walking and this won't help at all, but it's worth a try, right?" If all else failed and they got horribly lost, she'd just teleport them back to town.
